Throwing just took the spot of archery prepatch.

No fun to play battles, simple fucking ranged shit. If the patch ment to balance something, it did, but not in the right way in terms of ranged spam.

Great idea thomek. I though doubt that this could be achieved somehow.

Problems:
Way too many players that are deaf/dumb/unexpierienced or all 3 combined.

What you think about would need a really dedicated, more or less open minded and willing community.
Imo most of the players I talk and you think about allready joined a faction, play with TS and bring in teamplay.

I totally agree, since banner balance this mod became even way better.

But I doubt you could get get all those mindless ppl. to play this mod in a less casual maner...

Most players died after 2-3 hits?

My last gen char had 8 ps and weapons with a better output.
The range of hits needed was...now guess...2-3.
So id say, in terms of dmg output these agibuilds still rock.
In general katana is obv. a really good weapon and some ninjas are gooood players which makes it rly hard.

I am currently trying out an agibased build to check if ill miss more str and just to get to now what is most comfortable to play xD.

I kinda think ill end up @ a balanced build anyways xD
21/21 @ 33 with my spamtastic balanced 2Hander or german lolsword.

UrLukur. Just your way of argumentation gives a great idea why u are so unhappy with ur class.
You would be with every other class too, let me tell you that.

Know why. You simply seem too suck, you neither have an idea how to play ur class nor an constructive ideas.

Just deinstall and do youself a big favour. OMFG.

1H + Shield being the weakest build in this game?

Merc_Fencer

Not even mentioning all the other drz, merc, hre, fallen etc. players that give every 2H guy a hard time.

Some ppl have totally worthless "we need to buff 1H" arguements coz they exclude the reality on the battlefield.

1H is beatable, it isnt easy, way harder than it was before, but ok as it is now.

I often go for shielders by hitting their shield then passing them by to their right (my left side) while facehugging and doing a right swing without blocking. If they do manage to hit first by using a right-swing, they hit early in the swing and it's likely to bounce.  :D

Oh yes bruce, good reminder, when I started typing i was thinking about that factor being worth a mentioning...

Bad positioning and a long or rly short way for ur weapon will make ur swing tend to bounce off.

Btw Bruce: Next thing that shielder does after a bounce off is dying xD

Well, quite good explanations.

Some other factor being as important as the distance to your opponent is the side (left or right) he is standing at (from ur position).

Means opp. is to your left, your right swing will need a longer way / time to connect (and the other way around).
This always needs to be taken into account, specially when you see your opp. comitting such a mistake u can easily break his attack paradigm.

Everyone can lower the effect of bad positioning by pulling the mouse into the direction your swing is going to, thus making your swing connect earlier than it would without the pulling.

But this isnt a guaranted way to compensate a wrong positioning / swing direction situation.

Something else about animationspeed:
Undoubtfully the fastest attack for 1H is the left swing.
For 2H its the right swing.
(This doesnt take positioning etc. into account).

But the most important thing is the general ability to block everything an opp. is trying to hit u with. You can t kill what u cant hit.

Teammates tend to defend every god damm brick but not the objective - the fucking flag -

If u get lucky, your own faction is in ur team in large numbers + some Shogunate/Drz/some of the ninjas, not all -  it might be fun.

Ofc not when u defend one of these poorly balanced shit castles.

There is so many examples of good 1H + Board players...

I made one a while ago(after patch), mostly playing without a shield even.
Why? Simply bcoz its as playable as 2h if u know how to do it.

@Punisher +1 Ranged fire is as disgusting as it was prepatch
@Camaris +1 Shielders are mostly way to passive.

Offensive 1h play is the way to go.

60 k + equipment whenever, whereever I want it. Spend like 70 k gold after the patch, didn t get poorer at all.
Earning gold is np, just play right.

And believe me:
Everybody who grinded long enuff before the patch now has shitloads of gold / a nicely stacked up equip screen. ;-)

Want ur heirlooms back? Grind for them but pls pls, stop those silly whine threads, rather deinstall coz shit wont change from these threads.
