Honestly I just want to get rid of it. I am looking to trade anything that I might be able to trade easily for something else. I would like a MW Black Lamellar Vest or a MW Long Spear to use on my main. I also have a MW Danish and a Lordly Light Mail and Plate that I am looking to get rid of.

Never mind again... trade fell through... I still have a Masterwork Awlpike, what would you give me for it?

Hello, I have the following items that I would like to sell or trade;

Masterwork Awlpike
visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Requirement:12 strength
Weight:2.5
Slots:2
Upkeep:577 gold
Speed:92
Length:165
Thrust:36 pierce
Swing:19 blunt

I would take money for any of these. I would take anything above 1.1 mil for the Awlpike, I never use it but it is a fantastic weapon.

If cash isn't your thing, I am looking for a Masterwork Long Spear and a Masterwork Long Hafted Blade.

PM me or post here for trades or offers. Just because I didn't list an item as what I was looking for doesn't mean it isn't worth offering. All trade offers are welcome and we can see if we can work out a deal.

Thanks!

From some quick testing on EU_1(I am an NA player so this might be inaccurate as I didn't get much hitting in with my Cali ping), it seems as if you get points for the amount of hp damage you do. Don't know how many points per hp, but it seems to be linear-ish. You lose points by hurting yourself, for example fall damage, and the penalty is fairly severe. I lost 3 points for losing about half my health from a fall. I got 1 or 2 points per hit I did to someone. It also appears that you get points for damaging mounted horses. All of this is from maybe 20 mins of testing so don't hold me to any of that.

Both suggestions were good. I think I am going to do the following;

Code: (1H) [Select]
Level:           30  31  32

Strength:        21  21  21
Agility:         18  18  18

Attr to skill:    0   1   2
Skill to attr:    8   8   8

Ironflash:        0   2   4
Power Strike:     7   7   7
Shield:           5   6   6
Athletics:        6   6   6
Riding:           5   5   6

One Handed:     111 111 111
using cRPG NewGen calc

I will try the Niuwedao out for a bit as well as both the Heavy Round and the Elite Cavalry. Right now the Elite Cav sounds best if I were to loom a shield as I can use it on horseback.

I don't know how heavy of armor I will be going, I am thinking of doing a Heraldic Mail with Surcoat and a Kettle Helm of some sort.

Beginner's Help and Guides / Help with a Level 31 1h Build

Hey, I am trying out various builds on skip the fun alts for when they implement retiring bonuses at level 32.

I tried 1H for the first time in like 8 months and I actually enjoy it quite a bit. I am currently rocking this build for level 30;

Code: (1H) [Select]
Level:           30

Strength:        21
Agility:         18

Skill to attr:    8

Ironflash:        4
Power Strike:     7
Shield:           6
Athletics:        6

One Handed:     111
using cRPG NewGen calc

I really like this build because it lets me get hits in on plate users while keeping me fast. It also makes it so my shield rarely breaks.

However, I would like to add a cav aspect to the build as well for when I get bored of running around on foot. I would like to keep the athletics and the power strike where it is but other things could be moved around. The build will be for level 31 and I would like it to have a little bit of growth at 32 such as a bit more ironflesh or what not.

I would like to be able to have at least five riding to use a destrier, more is fine as long as it doesn't harm the build overall.

I am also looking for advice on shields and weapons to use. I am currently running with the Huscarl and an Elite Scimitar and like the feel on both. I do not like weapons with a stab as they often whif and get me killed.

Thanks.

I like Rusty's suggestion. Could be good for all weapon types. There is some specialization in other weapon forms but I would really like some more variety on the field.

I wouldn't take any HP from the shields. But I don't think shield skill should effect anything but speed on shields. I agree with making higher end shields heavier. Wood is not a light material and with the thickness of some of the shields, you can end up with one hell of a left arm by using them.

I'd be interested in giving feedback in this beta.

Computer Specs:
AMD FX Eight-Core Processor 3.1 GHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM
Nvidia GTX 460
Windows 7 x64

I have played most classes and have many alts that I like to switch through. Main character is polearm infantry.

Suggestions Corner / Re: New point system to replace kills
« on: July 10, 2012, 01:34:31 am »
Seems like a fairly good idea. I have always wanted to see a point based system for the frag list. Back in the day you would get different amounts of experienced based on the level of the person who died near you. You got a bit more for killing of course but it was still based on the level of the opponent. I think the point system needs to have a bit more of a complicated formula for it. You need to have more of a sliding reward system. If you do damage to a person of similar level to you, you should receive an average amount of points per point of damage you do to the player. If the player is lower level than you, you will get less points per point of damage and more points per point if they are higher than you.

So if a level 1 peasant runs up to a level 32 veteran player, one could argue that he is taking a much higher risk than if he were to go for a lower level player. Thus he would be rewarded proportionally to the risk he took.

That's my thoughts on it. I can clear up a few questions about the damage system. You can track the amount of damage a player does fairly easily. You can see if a horse is mounted when it was hit fairly easily. I was working on a mod a while ago and spent much of my time learning the limitations and capabilities of the modding system.
