PLEASE, for the love of god, help. This has been going on for years now, and it's really, really frustrating.

Symptom: Random graphics lockups, in which my screen will cycle between two frames and sound is fragmented in sync with the cycling.

The only way to fix it is to alt-tab. It SEEMS to me that my AMD 5870 is running out of memory... If I uncheck Load Textures on Demand the lockups happen almost instantly.

I've tried every damned combination of video settings I can think of. Has anyone run into this and found a solution?

There used to be a problem where if you had too much in your inventory, some things wouldn't show up ingame. It's still in I believe... still happens to me.

I recommend you test by selling some of your cheaper stuff.

I'm in favor of this change, if it means less fun-destroying archers on rooftops, invulnerable for 5:30 each round until an admin tells them to jump down.

I also have an archer, and only fight from the ground. Like a bad mutha.
