Is Selling a Loom Point Worth It?

Hey guys, first post ever on here woot!

Anyways, onto the point. Is selling a loom point worth it? I'm still on my first gen character, trying hard to get to level 31 (had to respec a few times to get my build right D:...) I was thinking about making my 1h sword, Knightly Arming sword, the... whatever you call it. heirloom?

Should I make my 1h sword, or any other item, into an heirloom, or should i sell the loom point? Sadly, I only have 20k right now... So i've been thinking about selling. Help me D:

I would sell the loom point. It's a better deal to sell the loom point and then to buy the heirloomed weapon which you want.

i'd suggest that all new characters sell their first loom point.  sell it for no less than 500k.

with 500k you can buy a +1 heirloom of your choice pretty easily (lots are around 400k).  you'll end up with a +1 heirloom anyway, with an additional 100k bankroll to wear good equipment with.

Check the marketplace. If the thing you would like to have a loom from is there for under 500k, sell the loompoint for 550-600k and buy it.You will still make profit.

IF your desired loom however isnt on the marketplace, better use the loompoint.
Maybe it woud be better for me to find out where you life and kill you when you are satch a Soziopath. You have enough now.

Yeah I agree with the sentiment of "check market for a loom you like and then sell yours and buy that one".

You'll still have money left over to mess around with.

Before you buy/loom yourself that +1 Knightly Arming Sword, please look at the Long Arming Sword. It's basically the same sword, but much more cheaper. The -1c swing damage is something you can easily live with. You might not think cost is a big issue now, but remember that you now have to pay upkeep even when you are low lvl. Not just when you are lvl 25+.

Hope this helped.

Its worth it.

I have sold 2 loom points, with the money I gained I purchesed 3 looms. I then played the market a bit.

I now have a build about 60% of the way to where I wanted to get it. I have a +2 side sword, +1 War Darts and +1 White Tunic over mail.

I have turned about 1.2 mill into about 1.5-6.

If you sell your loom points and don't so stupid stuff with the money you will get to +3s a whole lot faster than if you just try and loom them all the way up yourself.

The greater the amount of patience you can apply the greater the reward.
