General Discussion / Attacking a castle or city is cancerous

This test strategus has shown me that unless the defending team is half retards with over 140 ping. It will look like this due to ladders being destroyed so people fall to their deaths every time they attack
What started out as 31, became 13 for the attacking side
Siege towers (like the base singleplayer campaign) in my opinion would help greatly, when the current ones break (if you can even use them) it makes the area they covered unstable, and basically unplayable and non normal to play on.
This shit will kill the mod in my opinion if attacking side continues to be not fun and fucking retarded
Let me know what you others think, leave a comment. I think this needs to change, now.
EDIT: Yes, some of the attackers did fine. But if over half your team leaves - what's the fucking point?

Ruleset
Only Skip The Fun Characters
Chest pieces must be below 20 weight
No ranged weapons (bows, crossbows)
No throwing weapons
No Siege equipment
No Cavalry
All melee weapons allowed
Loomed equipment allowed
Matches will be first to 5
Breaking a rule will result in IMMEDIATE player disqualification, prizes forfeited
Any team requiring a RANDOM sub, their sub will be picked by the opposing team
Prizes
1st Place: 20 Million Experience Points, 5 Loom Points, 300k Gold
2nd Place: 10 Million Experience Points, 2 Loom Points, 100k Gold
3rd Place: 5 Million Experience Points 1 Loom Point
Participation Prize: 2 Million Experience Points

If you've ever tried to apply to a strategus battle on your phone, you know that shit gay
It'll look like this

And if you click on something anyway you wont even be able to apply it'll just look like this

But wait, you can actually use the website if you click on just TWO things
First one

Click the top right corner of your browser for settings, and click on desktop mode
This will allow you to actually see shit, like a computer
Problem solved.
Second one, even if you use desktop mode you can't do shit on the map like viewing inventory and information, faction, etc. It'll look like this and you cant zoom out

Use the big legacy mode on the general page

At the very top.
This will let you just see everything without the unnecessary content, shit like character gold, so there's more space to do what you're on the map for.

Strategus General Discussion / Archibot, why?

Archibot, as for myself even despite my awful internet connection in yesterday's strategus battle I was having a little bit of fun. I was hoping that the 8 LP of rewards I had offered would have it be a decently sized battle.
We only see our highest numbers of players in strategus battles, and when you do nothing but flag cap and run away when confronted it completely takes the fun away from me to play this mod anymore.
It was a short battle not because we didn't have enough mercs show up, not because we lacked skill or teamwork, but because of dedicated pussies, like you.
As for everyone else, feel free to post your opinion on that below. I fail to see a point in seeing myself participate next strategus with stupid shit like this. I know capping flags is a quick method to victory, a valid tactic. But when the point of the latest battles is not for strategus campaign but to make battles for others to enjoy, what the fuck.
