Title: Add quests for gold and XP

There's been a surge of new players lately, and alot of them are complaining about how difficult it is to level up to be able to compete with veterans, who have 15 gens and are level 33+ and such. I think there is an easy way to help new players without ruining the leveling system, what if devs added ingame quests that you could complete for a gold and experience reward?

For example, if you dismounted an X amount of cavalry, or you got an X number of kill assists or something like that, you would get a certain amount of gold and experience points.

I don't know how this would be implemented, though. Thoughts?

Only if there are dragons..

But srsly, maybe a weekly goal of 150 kills (daily-ish, but more weekly-ish) for 8k gold or something, or maybe gold is gay af and would only fuck the economy more.. Maybe x amount of strat ticks.

In game achievements is a must.

Even those baddies from the inferior Merc mod have such a system

Yes 15 killstreak gives you Tactical Dragon Strike. Would be boss.

On topic: No. Nubs can complain, or they can put their vaginas back in their purses and man up, its not long these days to level at all, and only practise is gonna make them able to fight.

I think it has been suggested previously to have some sort of randomly generated "quests"/tasks, that you can complete for small rewards. Like, kill X archers, get a reward of X gold and Y experience or score X kills with a specific weapon, but it never went anywhere.

I personally would love this, the rewards don't have to be big, it's just something that would make the game more fun, having more things to work towards.

Should have done that instead of doubling exp.  Now gold and exp flow too freely.

Would be nice to have weekly tasks, so every monday everyone gets new tasks he can complete until sunday midnight.

It would give the game another way of playing then grinding xp i believe.

While kill streaks are something we all try to do anyway, any other task would probably screw up team play.

Ive nailed all  of those achievements can I have a custom title, including teamkilling several teammates in the rush to claim the easy peasant kill which I think qualifies me for number 6.

"Helllo World!" - Be the first to say hello(QGH) on new map and new round: 2k and 1k xp
"ImSry plz n reprt" - Say sorry(QQA) after teamhitting, teamkilling and opening gate as defender: 1k,10k and 20k xp
"You got PwnD!" - Kill any archer within a second after Yealling Archers!(QFR): Forces cheering animation for everyone for three seconds and 15k xp
"Community service" - Type ten messages in Admin chat in less than a minute: 1k xp
"Neigh sayer" - Die to couched lance or cave bump within a second after saying no(QGN): 3k xp
"Yesus" - Die to tk within a second after saying yes(QGY): 1k xp and free instant respawn enabled ONCE after 72 hours but only if three female chars lvl 1-10 are the only ones within Line of sight.
"Infantilery" - Yell Infantry(QFI) Before being muted, with the reason "cry baby" by an admin: 4k xp
"Like THE prophet!" - Die on a horse midair while muted by admin with reason "rage kid can't take a joke": 6k xp, 12 k if you have smoke bombs equipped
"End round exodus: fail" - Drown while wearing no more than 5k gear, staff must be wielded during end round cheering animation - 10k xp
"I only have two cheeks!" - After being hit by team mate, say: Watch your aim(QGW), then after being hit again by that team mate kill it! - 25k xp

Remove Strategus and remove all XP awarded from strategus battles. Balance fixed.

It's a win for everyone, i can't think of a single person who wouldn't benefit from killstreaks and ingame achievements.

The best part was how to refer to peasants as "it" lol
