Will be cRPG moved to Bannerlord?
-
yes
-
lovely. maybe crpg will return as a one of the most famous modules as it was couple years ago...
-
Well obviously not done by donkeycrew.
-
ye forget my "yes", you are not the only one asking it.
I dont get how you think our cRPG should be moved or something, how on earth should that work

Just put the module into Bannerlord folder, what is there to think about?

Considering donkeys are not very good at multi tasking, I reckon the DonkeyCrew will only work on OKaM, rather than spending any resources on a Bannerlords cRPG mod.
-
yes
holy fuck now my screen is full of coffee.

I would love to help make a new cRPG 2.0 for Bannerlord when it comes out but its not my skill set. I honestly don't even know how the website and game communicate. So i'll just stick to stealing people's thunder through mini mods muahhaha.

they use snapchat like everyone else bro

I could harness the awesome power of the tech guys at work to create a version of cRPG 2.0 for Bannerlord if no competition emerges, but I must forwarn you that I will not release it until I can fully implement tab-targeted combat.
Fo' realz my biggest concern about cRPG in Bannerlord is not that nobody will try because I'm pretty sure the community has that covered. It's that without Donkey Crew we're likely to see a couple of mods similar to cRPG as a spiritual successor that end up in competition with each other to be the 'cRPG' of Bannerlord. The downside to that would be splitting the community, and potentially each having areas that are better/worse than each other throughout development, making it hard to pick one and stick with it.
FUck crpg for bannerlord, we gotta support the donkeys and just move to OKAM

Perhaps Taleworlds will put character development into multiplayer themselves.

afaik they said they wont. they also said they have no plans to ever implement a co op single player for some retarded reason
-
i just hope the board games are multiplayer

Some companies are just deathly allergic to money

Coop-Singleplayer would be incredibly difficult to implement properly.
A half assed solution would surely be possible, but no one would be happy with it.
I would gladly dismiss multiplayer if coop singleplayer was a thing myself, but it just is way too difficult.

The co-op singleplayer would be hard to implement from a balance and time passage stand point, I think is Taleworld's argument? I think a simple solution is to keep the game going in real time when one player is in a battle, so that the other player can come in and join the fight, move around the map, or take advantage and siege a castle while the opponent is occupied in the field. However, when both players are in a battle or a scene, time stops and the AI stops making moves on the map until one player exits the fight or scene. Not hard Taleworlds.
Honestly, how hard is it to implement? Unless they kept their horribly near sighted, hard coded crap in awful places like in Warband. I mean who cares if it is unbalanced or a bit buggy, i'd rather have the option to have some great moments with my friend rather than just nothing at all. Seriously, Taleworlds has had like 4 years now, and they will probably have been in development for 5-6 years when it finally comes out. Doesn't seem like a huge project. Hopefully a modder can make it possible with Bannerlord since that's what Taleworlds is banking on that modders will fix the flaws they left in the game.
