Hey fellas, I was thinking of getting back in the game as apparently there's still life on EU1.
However, playing on a lagtop I'd like to avoid the steam overlay. Is it possible to install Warband without steam and play cRPG?

Hey guys
I've been playing this game for so long and I thought about trying some weird builds.
I got some questions about unarmed. I can probably test these things myself but if you guys know the answers, it'd be easier
Anything else you know about unarmed that would be good to know? I'm rocking +3 Heavy Gauntlets.

- Does Power Strike affect unarmed damage?
- Does one hand wpf affect unarmed speed? (Pretty sure it doesn't but not a hundred percent sure)
- Does Strength affect unarmed damage?
- Does Strength affect nudge damage/knockback?
Anything else you know about unarmed that would be good to know? I'm rocking +3 Heavy Gauntlets.

Historical Discussion / How does an empire emerge?

Hello my beloved ones.
I'm currently starting a novel project as a hobby-thing because I have a lot of free time currently.
I'd like to build a faction that will, in time, become an empire. I thought it would be interesting to actually capture that transition within the book's timespan, instead of starting off with an already established empire.
So what is an empire before an empire?
What would I call the faction before reaching that threshold?

So recently I grew a bit tired of the same grind in cRPG so, being the ex-mmo'er I am, I looked back in time.
So uhm... Turns out Warhammer Online is dead and gone now. Huh.

Can't say it's a suprise, the servers kept merging together and the population kept fading.
But now I'd like to know if any other MMO out there is worth playing now? I'm talking old and new.
Things I've considered (opinions?)
Any good or even remotely good MMOs worth trying out? I got some time to kill these days.
