General Off Topic / Re: Your ideal home?
« on: February 15, 2016, 09:48:42 pm »
Small introduction, now back to topic. My ideal home is some fricking unpopulated area near Murican-Canadian border, but close enough to some bigger settlement. My fucking property, acres and acres of my own land. Forests, rivers, ponds, waterfall, what not. Like what that fucker has in Ex Machina. Private heli or jet. Awesome shit like that. Water around my huge castle-fotress kind of house. Doesn't have to be pretty, not looking for a Disney castle. Has to be huge. Bellow everything are tunnels, deep bellow. Net of tunnels. Bellow grazing grounds (need my own organic food yo) will be heaters so I can have gardens and cattle chewing whole goddamn year. In your face Mr Winter! Now the most important part. Everything bar house is a decoy. Bellow house it four times house deep. House is fricking spaceship, ready for evacuation when other rich assholes decide it is time for us fine gentleman to leave this rock. Sci-fi wish would be dome shaped barrier from Gothic games, around my whole property. Nothing can pass if I want it that way. Shame it isn't possible...
Sounds like a Minecraft player's wet dream lol.

Mine is just some small house, the building itself doesn't matter much. Next to it must be either garages, or a hangar to store cars, preferably heated and already equipped with all kinds of fancy machines and tools to work on metal. Around the thing are racing tracks, rally tracks, mountain passes etc. Everything all to myself of course, so that I don't have to share with those pesky peasants  :P

Don't know if these were posted before (because everyone posts, no one reads thread :----DDDD) but here are my favourites:

Automation soundtrack - it amazes me how a single guy can make the same theme in so many different styles

Atom Zombie Smasher soundtrack

Also that one song from Half-Life 2

Slingshots - both the stone in a strap, and Y-shaped stick types, maybe some other fancy designs
Holding swords upside down if you've got metal gloves - that's a legit thing, bashing with the handle is much more efficient than trying to slice through plate armour
Being able to throw any weapon, including shields
Magic missile spell

Polonium awaits those who oppose hammer and sickle!

Wow that's an expensive way to eradicate insignificant traitors.

gieb exp my old friends

yes
I stopped playing cRPG over a year ago because there was too much grinding, especially once you get to lvl 34. Only recently a few weeks ago when I got back to the game did I get my first ever retirement and LP. Also the current levelling system is the dumbest thing of All Time. You get the first twenty something levels pretty much in a single game, and then grind for endless hours. Starting with a lvl 25 character is fine because it somewhat prevents new players from getting disencouraged. The xp needed for level up curve should look something like this (admire my masterfully drawn chart):

Wait, did they dieded forever or just for now? Mountain Blade has plenty of active online players on Warband, F&S and NW so it's unlikely that the devs shut down their servers because no one plays on them.

I'm ok with this.  Why stop at 10x?  If you can manage to somehow win 10 rounds in a row...why not keep it going?

This. Imagine the emotions when you're at x15, and you're the only one left on your team. Though it would be fairly easy to abuse at late night/early morning when the servers are empty.

Also, why ticks in the first place? I can understand if it's due to technical limitations, but if it was a voluntary choice to implement ticks rather than conventional rewarding, then I don't really get it. The only good reason seems to be encouraging players to play as a team, rather than hoard points by slaying unskilled peasants lords like me. Some ill-mannered peasants still chase after me rather than capping the flag or helping the rest of their team fight against 2h tryhard nerds.
