Site Going Down

It happens nearly every day during NA Primetime, the site (c-rpg.net and forum.melee.org) go down until very late at night. At first, it was annoying but no big deal, but since it has happened nearly every night of the last week. Could we at least  be told what's going on, because it feels like we're being left in the dark.

I asked on IRC and they told it's automatic restart. Don't think it's the thing though.

Acutally the site ordinary restarts every night (for EUs) like 2-3 times. I guess it was (for me) allways at 1 AM and 4 AM. Seems like something is going wrong there

The site does not go down on accident. It is a timed schedule. It goes down from around 4 p.m until 11:30 p.m central time. I don't think it takes 8 hours to restart a server.

The server is located on a major ley line. The air crackles with magic there. During peak ley line walker hours the interference can mess with any form of magnetic storage including hard drives.

If you want it fixed there is only one solution. You must wander the deep woods and murder as many druids and witches as you can. This will be much easier if your party includes a cleric who can cast the miracle Silence, or an ordained mage-hunter of fourth level or higher with an active Antimagic Field.
