"Average melee Armour"

What is it?  I use unloomed armour and have 41 body

*Are loomed armours too powerful when compared to their unloomed counterparts (I tend to think so).

*Maybe armour weight should go down on second loom instead of armour value going up? This makes more physical sense and in many cases this is a fair trade. It does nerf str builds.
PK is back

PK is a collection of elites from throughout modern and ancient history. Giants of Calradia individually, as a group these gods of combat shatter all expectations and ascend to a higher plain of victory that only a few have seen before.

I would think the average is around 55-60 body armour (loomed kuyak and gloves) but a lot of people have much higher and a lot much less :P

I personally think gloves should offer offensive bonuses in some way instead of defensive, but that's too many changes/ too much work. Light-medium loomed armor is very strong with the heavier loomed gloves with very little penalty.

Hm, considering that loomed gloves are 8 or higher and the average min-maxer tard has a kuyak or sarraind guard armor because of their overpowered stats, the average melee body armour would have a value between 55 - 60 (Thats if we assume that the armor and gloves are loomed, unloomed values would be 44 - 59 )

I go out with 35 body armor with loomed Ragged Outfit and loomed Mail Mittens. 40 is what I feel the average armor level should be at considering the range of choices, so I don't really like to go above it too often for my characters.

Sometimes I'll wear a +3 Druzhina Mail Shirt and bump it up to 50 body armor (my heavy set is worse than some people's light set, apparently).

There's two groups of "medium" armor that people seem to go for. The 4,500 to 6,000 gold light mails and the 10,000 to 12,000 gold heavy mails. After that point the cost-benefit ratio starts to shrink, but plenty of people wear plate as a melee fighter.

It really depends on your build and how you want to play!

irl something shorted on the shuttle and laika overheated and died within a few hours of liftoff and for a brief while one could look up to the stars and see a light shooting across the sky that was actually a warm dog corpse slingshoting about the earth at thousands of miles per hour which was arguably humanity's greatest achievement so far
