Decided to go with the Chinese line as a sidegrade to my USA progress (going to play everything USA until tier V, then will pick up the lines that interest me), I know they only have knockoff modified tanks and shitty gun depression, but something draws me to play it.

I wanted to try out the T-34, the T-34-85 and the IS tank anyway, so why not?
Also their armor tint looks original. Too many greens in WoT already

I also noticed that the chinese tanks are pretty solid stock, like the IS2 gets a 100mm cannon, while the original IS gets a 85mm, and people say the stock grind is terrible. This could be an advantage for a newcomer to a higher-tier adventure.
(yeah I am pretty green, I never had anything higher than VI I think, and that was in closed beta)

There is going to be a march of the nations bonus for them soon, can't wait for that.

Also listening to this nonstop:

I'm waiting for the Chinese MoN to get their T7 medium, which looks extremely good on paper.

Got the IS-2, T-34-1 and the premium T-34-3.

Never played the russian IS, but they don't seem to differ that much from each other.

T-34-1 is imo one of the best Tier 7 Mediums, as long as you don't show its hull, since its really weak.

T-34-3 on the other hand is pretty difficult to play, but as soon as you know how, itÄs also nice.

One big advantage of the chinese IS-2, or specifially the 122mm gun, which you can also use on the T-34-2 or is used on the T-34-3, is the fact that it does 250mm of Penetration with premium ammo, unlike the russian with its 217 or something.

Chinese tree seems to have really good and painless stock grinds as well, IS is one of the worst VII grinds according to my research, while IS2 is one of the easiest.

This matters a lot to me.

Not always, T-34-2, 32k exp until you can use a somewhat good gun, firstly you have to play with a 85mm, 128 Penetration gun.

Or the 110, nearly 90k Exp till you can use the good gun.

Painful grinds? Man, don't remind me about my grind towards the Panther. That tier4 German "heavy"... DipshitWagon2 or whatsitcalled? Fully upgraded, still entirely helpless even against tier3 tanks.

Ugh.

Well every tree has their crap grinds, I just compared the IS and IS2 together.

Oh god, the Durchbruchswagen2.. that is a free target practice tank ._.
My chinese Chi-Ha eats those things for breakfast.

I freaking loved the Chi-Ha, amazing tank really. I have a 69% WR on it.
Against other tier III it is a menace, could seriously piss off some tier V with it even.

I remember taking 260 hp off of a KV1-S for an example, or ammoracking a Sherman III

What a nice way to say goodbye to it, this was my last game in the tank.

Managed to reset cap and kill last enemy tank with 1 seconds left.
Edit: I freaking hate pz 1c, very irritating.

Welp, time to buy that Stuart.

Chi-To is pretty easy to play, as long as you know to avoid taking hits, dishes out real fast against pretty much anything :)
