I think you can't, not for free. You should gather some XP and level up your hero.
There is also a button called Skip the fun which will give your character some levels for free, but you won't be able to levelup that character any further.

Armor weight modified proficiency = base proficiency * (1 - 0.01 * effective armor weight)
Effective armor weight = 2*head armor weight + body armor weight + leg armor weight + 4*hand armor weight - 10
(Source: WaltF4, updated 31.7.2012 based on the new formula)
This means that every point of armor weight with helmet weight multiplied by 2 and glove weight multiplied by 4 over 10 reduces your wpf by 1%. Or the same put other way, any effective armor weight from the above equation reduces your wpf 1% per 1 point.

I suggest to take a fee of, for example, 2mil per exchange (and in this case the time delay between exchanges will not be needed at all).

Archers are not a serious firepower in DTV. It's always better to have an extra 2h/shielder than archer (not a cav tho, no one likes the cav). In DTV they are rather a support class which can't do much on its own, sadly.

Egpath has been born big. He noticed that he is bigger than the other children, and, even though it was hard to call him a smart kid - he realized what he should do - he spent his young years training and exercising, lifting weights and cutting down trees, practicing with a sword. Soon Egpath has become a valuable sword-for-hire which you can find in pretty much any tavern. Some of the most regular customers of those taverns could tell you a famous story about the Egpath the Bearkiller - a huge human who cut a bear in half with a single blow, while some other customers will say that he killed a bear with his bare hands. Those stories are not something unusual that you could hear from drunkards and Egpath has never talked about any bears either - but he indeed looks like someone who would do that, mostly because of his height. However, Egpath is actually a nice guy if you'll get to know him better.

Born in a noble family, Alfdis watched her brothers training and fighting with swords. She tried to do that too, but each time was defeated by boys. Despite the fact that her parents forbade her to take a sword or fight, she tried over and over, until her father gave her a bow. It was unusual to see how the noble's daughter spends her time on a shooting range day by day, but she liked it.
Everything has changed when she was promised to a noble male. From now on, the shooting range has been closed to her. Instead, wedding preparations took its place. She hated to be weak more than anything else, and now her own parents are forcing her to obey and "to become a proper wife". She could not stand it. Alfdis took her bow and sneaked out of her mansion. She is on the run these days, surviving and living the free life.

Lady Luck gave the Squire title to the young Kellen. Being a usual peasant boy, he thought it will make him a knight from the fairy tales he always dreamed to be.However, it didn't happen. Instead, after nine years of service, his Lord has been killed in his own chambers by the hand of a hired knife. Broken and grieving, he took his dead lord's armor and escaped the castle, decided to take the fate into his own hands. He knew that, from now on, he will not let anyone stop him from becoming the one he sees in his dreams - a true knight from the fairy tales.
Today, "sir" Kellen, how he calls himself, is helping peasants, "accomplishing deeds" and "fighting evil", using their supplies to eat and local blacksmith's services to repair his equipment. He has been caught once by the new lord, that tried to get back the knight's armor and to get rid of the rebel, but now he is free again. A guy who fights bandits and makes peasants happy could be useful. Even if he is the one who killed his own lord.
