Suggestions Corner / More NPC Auctions

With inaccessible respecs being a thing of the past and blacksmith services now being free, I think there's room to have these.

Multiple concurrent auctions, or smaller time intervals of time between each auction for:

Heirloom Exchange: These are always going to be capped at 1 LP or below in gold value anyway
Title of Nobility
Training Lessons

New auctions:

Temporary Unique Items: Example would be Boulder on a Stick/Looney Toons Axe/Green Felt Hat, though current holiday items could be excluded, especially tournament prizes like the crown/engraved stuff. These would be untradable/no-armory flagged, transferable between characters on one account. Item vanishes or gets automatically transferred to whoever wins the next auction on a weekly interval.

Weapons Training: Respec on WPF only

Limited Heirloom Exchange: Exchanges that only work on +1 or +2 items, instead of +1/+2/+3. This would not replace the original heirloom exchange.

I won an heirloom exchange in an auction, so I'm looking to get a low value +3 item before swapping for armor or something. (Current cheapest in MP is something like 2 lp + 20k)

Realism Discussion / Accumulative Damage

Not really suggesting this as a feature since players generally die too quickly for a system like this to make much of a difference, but it could be food for thought for M:BG.

Basically this idea would involve repeated effective strikes to a bone/group of bones simulating greater sensitivity/damaged armor in that region, without something that feels awkward like crippling/bleeding.

Human Agents get slots for each logical group of "bones". (eg. shoulder.R, upperarm.R, forearm.R, hand.R would all belong in one group.)
The values of these slots start out at 0, and get reset each "life".

Example scenario:

Player Y has 50 armor.

Player X hits Player Y in bone "calf.L", and deals 50 initial raw damage. Since this "bone" group (left leg) was undamaged, raw damage does not get changed. After armor, it deals 10 effective damage.

Player Y's left leg "bone" group slot has 1/2 of the effective damage added to it, increasing it to 5.

Player X hits Player Y in bone "thigh.L", dealing 50 raw damage again. Since this "bone" group (left leg) was previously damaged, Player Y takes extra damage, increasing the raw damage to 55. After armor, it deals 13 effective damage.

Player Y's left leg "bone" group slot has 1/2 of the effective damage added to it, increasing it to 12.

Player X hits Player Y in bone "calf.L" again, dealing 50 raw damage again. Since this "bone" group (left leg) was previously damaged, Player Y takes extra damage, increasing the raw damage to 62. After armor, it deals 17 effective damage.

...And so on until death.

So yeah, I'm an admin/badmin for NA now and stuff, so I have to have one of these threads.

I tend to be a bit laid back with administration, but don't take it as an invitation to troll on my watch. I do have to keep some semblance of order if nobody else is on, especially if you're doing obvious trolly stuff that people are complaining about in player -> admin chat.

It's somewhat unlikely that I'll do stupid stuff since my day job's workload currently prohibits excessive drinking, but feel free to leave feedback about how bad I am here so that I can be fired for gross incompetence.

Suggestions Corner / Remove ammo stack from slot(s) upon depletion.

This is mostly noticeable on throwers, but it'd be handy if slots (and weight) were automatically freed up by removing depleted ammo stacks from the ingame character's inventory.

Right now running out of ammo tends to bug out the slots so that they're inaccessible, at least with throwing lances. With bows/crossbows, it's less of a problem since you can just drop the bow/crossbow and all of your ammo automatically gets dropped.

Alternatively some sort of drop all ammo or drop all empty ammo containers button would be handy.

I tend to leave all of my stuff in the armory when I'm not playing, but I check the marketplace a few times a day in case there's something fun I can swap for.

I don't want to inconvenience any of the people who are borrowing my items, so I end up searching for items that I have individually instead of taking them out and searching for requests that I can fulfill with all of my items on one character.

Alternatively, I'd like some sort of multiple item search.

Eg:
Search for all trades that involve any of the following: +3 wooden stick, +3 nomad robes, +3 leather gloves.

4. Written description of what happened, the whole story. Also what happened before and after :

I wanted to learn how to operate a catapult, so I bought a construction site sometime after 12:00 EST. I went on NA_cRPG_3 (On duel mode), with a small population on the server. I built a weapon crate and built a catapult in a position far away from any duels taking place. Theomere started breaking them, and continued after I told him to stop, breaking both the catapult and the weapon crate. I built another catapult (with ePaladin_SugarHoe_Of_Frisia's help) and 3 more weapon crates after that, but Theomere broke all of the weapon crates soon after I placed them.

5. Why you think the offender did what he did.

Based on the other ban thread up about him, trolololol. Probably decided to keep breaking my stuff because I said I was too lazy to report him after ePaladin_SugarHoe_Of_Frisia suggested it.
