So what is this game now? Real time mount and blade? That's what your trailer shows off. I have yet to witness any base building game be over a 64 man server and I will remain skeptical until it exists.

Since you are still creating combat you should definitely get this small niche community into a invite only pre-alpha test where you can get a wider range of feedback. Combat will be the make or break for your game so before you go public even on an early access (subject to change) alpha, you should still test it several times on a larger scale. Most developers release a Beta which is far too late to change mechanics drastically. I personally have a large opinion on melee games  and would greatly appreciate an opportunity to get hands on and more importantly get into detailed discussion about what would make it great.

There are two games I would compare your territory conquest with for the direction your headed. A mesh between Project Reality Mod for Battlefield 2 and Company of Heroes. Hour long vast strategic battles? YES please. FOB, add the ability for your team to build a forward operating base (Tent spawn point in CRPG) with defenses (Think wooden stakes or even wooden fort). These can be placed anywhere on the map via a supply drop (Supply wagon needs to be nearby or wagon turns into tent spawn point). They can only be destroyed if they are overrun and "burnt with a torch" (Hitting action key E on it for example).

That said good old Last Team Standing (Battle mode) 1 life per round is always a good mode. If the map is massive though I would recommend respawns in some form. Theirs always the danger of back capping while your teams out fighting on Capture the point maps. It's never fun when you're fighting the good fight but your team loses because some group snuck behind everyone to cap and that wins the game.

Buttcap protects the rear end of shaft from splitting/damages, it also gives balance to spear for easier control of said spear. Aside from giving additional customisation option ofcourse.

They were also used as maces once the spear shaft broke. PLEASE implement that into the game.

Also, LiF is attempting to make a persistent world. It has speed tree and voxel based mining which have some sort of memory leak build up. Not sure if they fixed the memory leak but at one point the trees would regrow faster then anyone could destroy them and kill the server. I don't know if it's speed tree or just there engine that can't seem to handle the build up.

I'm currently very worried about your game turning out similar to Life is Feudal. They use torque 3D engine. That said there game has vastly approved over the last year.

PW works well (or alright) with an open world and city to manage, even if M&B wasn't made for this purpose.

PW doesn't have construction/deconstruction, it is a static map. Not to mention a single warband map is not very big at all.

They made it from scratch, iirc.

That makes me happy, I have encountered far to many indie titles that have similar concepts but run into difficulties with older/existing engines. For example Life is Feudal.

Prox not hating on specifically, because I have no idea who you are, but this entire statement right here makes me want to throat punch someone so fucking hard. Self entitlement is a disgusting characteristic and is so prevelant in our society today. I fucking hate this type of sentiment, well what you're doing is good, but you should make it this way because I think so, and it's what I want. Go fuck yourself, ye?

For them, personally, they want to make the game the way they want to make the game because it's their fucking game.

I can express my opinion however and whenever I want. Giving a business feedback on what a potential customer wants is not self entitlement. You seem like an angry young person, I highly doubt you tell people you talk to face to face to go fuck themselves. You should try to be constructive while this game is in development instead of being a whiner once it has been released.

Do you have any technical knowledge of the engine and if it will be able to handle what you are trying to do? There are very few games that can handle hundreds of players on a server and still have high performance. Going with this open world concept means you must be confident to push your game above what warband and crpg could handle with 180 man servers. Adding city building on top of having a good fighting game has not seemed to work yet for anyone else.

Concepts are all fine and dandy but they mean nothing to me until I see them working properly.

For me personally, I just want CRPG 2 and then you guys can put as much time and effort into open world Strategus after.

High quality animations, keep up the good work. The guys at http://atsgamers.com/ are highly anticipating your games release. These forums may not be very active or crpg itself anymore but my clans put years into your mod. We were a driving force for the NA community straight out of warband native and we will be playing your new game. Just wanted to let you guys know we are watching and waiting, if you ever need a NA group for stress tests or setting up an NA server we'll be there.

If I hit M everytime I was teamwounded/killed by horses or otherwise a lot more of you would be closer to 5 but I'm not a whiney bitch and I don't hit M when the two handers swarm for the kill. I try not to let enemy cav just knock me over in front of enemies but when a teammate does sometimes I assume they are an enemy trying to get me killed and I react, sometimes its hard to see a banner so high up over your head when I'm in the dirt and I think the guy that just put me on my ass is an enemy cav.

For this particular case I was a foot away from a wall going towards it blocking against the archers on top of the building and you ran straight at me from behind knocking me over and into the wall. Now I know bad cav don't much care about the lowly people on foot and play like there not even there but you could of steered to my right or left and hit the wall (Not that I know why you were riding into a building) or atleast tried to jump over me. You knocked me over when I was already wounded and I got shot dropping me lower so I stabbed you with my super deadly warspear and you died.

Personally I don't really give a shit and I see why your playing on community.
