FCC started playing better mmorpg / multiplayer games way before Fenada got taken , which explains how it was taken easily. We gave hell of a fight to Mercs last strat and some Leiknir could take over a village with his small army ? Dream on ...
This said, you see more and more players switching to Nord Invasion, Killing Floor, SWTOR or whatever is cheap on steam these days. Which means anything that isn't Strategus makes player happy now. There's not much to argue on that, as it is obvious it's happening.
At some point you have to ask yourself ... did Strategus ever worth the hours invested ? Waking up at 4am for a game ? I mean , the concept is great, but it's only great for no-lives and people who do have one started caring less and less until we found something better somewhere else.
This ain't a FCC GTX. See it as a "About time we stopped playing a bugged game where devs are directly involved in the factions and troll their community members".
If that makes you feel better at night, if it helps you sleeping better... then go ahead and keep trolling : ) You're cool , on THE internet.

Since when they do care about the suggestion section of the forum anyway ? They made it so people think they are helping out and they aren't going on IRC to PM cmp or chadz with their lame suggestion. So they made a section where players go and write their suggestions and argue between themselves.
I thought people would have understood by now ... how many suggestions were really implemented or even read ? lol

This is why I made my 6 factions only (that anyone could join) with unique cheap gear in different areas of the map suggestion, to make Strategus less likely to cut large portions of the playerbase completely out of the game. People that just want to work could work and have no restrictions, and the people that just want fight would always be able to join a faction and have someone to fight. If their faction was destroyed, they could all join another faction with no preconditions thus maybe keeping players interested in the game instead of cutting them out bit by bit. I think a system like this would give active players more value and make the game more open to casual players too.
Well have you ever seen any MMORPG that lets players start their own faction where you can potentially be totally wiped out ? It's always Blue vs Red (sometimes vs Green) and the Capitals aren't attackable. There should be a wipe of Strategus and people can join a side, and they can,t all stack in the same faction, so if too many red , you have to go blue. So if the carebear alliance still want to be together, they'd be against much more people that they can't force to ally themselves to their alliance and you'd have people standing against such faction.
If it gets too many red vs blues , than red should get handicap or blue a bonus. So a mercenary will go for the faction with a bonus to Gold / XP and fight for them. That's how Shattered Galaxy do it to balance their game, that's how Battlestar Gallactica Online does it and so many others... If you put the possibility to be wiped out totally , people get scared and make huge alliances , but if you,re safe and can always restart from a Capital or town that can't be taken, then you care less about taking risks...
That's my opinion ... now fight and troll
