They said they were gonna do it someday, but I reckon probably around the same time the first Alpha is released?

Thats something you can expect soon. Will or should  be part of our early access.

those of us who are high enough that it was not possible to commit suicide in the closet. will be able to see the game  soon
but we're going to lose all those pygmies who survived in 2014-2015 (

So will Alpha and Early Access be the same thing? Or will Early Access be more of a Beta? Also would you mind clarify who would have access to the Alpha/Early Access.

Most of early access are launched during alpha.

Early access mean for sale so I suppose that everyone who buy the game in early access and also the early backer can have acces to the alpha.

Does Early Access mean Steam Early Acess or do you guys have something else in mind? If you are sceptical about releasing on Steam, just look at the sales of Squad, pretty much the same story as you guys. From mod to game. The servers are full 24/7 and they are 40 player servers on average. And even, if someone sees it, but doesn't buy the game, he can tell a friend, who will.

I agree, I played Project Reality (the mod) and I'll definitely buy Squad. Now, people who haven't even heard of the mod are playing because of Steam.
