Hello everybody my name is Valek and this is my essay about : Communitacting with people of different nationalities and cultures in an online community.
I constantly talk to different people of different nationalities since i am currently studying in the Russian People's Friendship University. We have students from different countries, different cultures and of different religions, including black people (in Russia usually called "negr"). I myself can't see anything in the word "ni**er" that can upset a person, the word is often used in the movies and doesn't do any harm to anyone, but when i wrote "fuck off ni**er", somebody took it personally and got upset i didn't even know what the word meant exactly and when i translated it later i found out it's a curse word.
I respect people of all nationalities and religions. I myself am from Caucasus, been to many countries and there's only one country that is negative towards foreigners and it's Russia - that's my opinion. I realise that one should be friendly with people of different nationalities, but there are people who intentionally provoke you to insult them (in online communities) and then they complain. When it comes to communication in an online society it's completely different from real life, people sometimes don't realise who they're talking to what kind of person is in front of them, what nationality and what they write, often insulting others. I barely communicate with people online, what would i sit at home and talk to someone on the web when i can go outsite on the street and talk to my friends or at the Uni. I only talk to my pals on Skype when i play.
My conclusion is that i understood that i should talk to people and treat different nationalities positively, but when it comes to online i try to restrain from communicating and just type something like " хпхпхпхпхп" or something related to the game.
I've grasped my fault the evil i commited, i won't do it again, i apologise to the person who got upset because i said" fuck of n1ger". Now in online communities i will be serious and positive towards everyone, like in real life i will treat people with respect and understanding. I would not like to be banned again, if i will stay banned it will be really sad for me and tragic too, because this is the only game i play and i've spent many of my days playing it.

Мой очерк на тему: Общение с людьми разных национальностей и культур в онлайновом сообществе
Я общаюсь с разными людьми и разных национальностей, и учусь в РУДН (Российский университет дружбы народов). У нас учатся люди с разных стран, разных культур и религий, среди них и есть негры, которые обижаются,которые нет когда им говоришь нигер, все зависит от человека. Я в этом слове не вижу ни чего такого что может обидеть человека в фильмах это слово используют часто и ни чего и ни кто не обижается, стоило мне просто написать фак оф нигер, кто посчитал что это ему сказано обиделся пожаловался и я не знал что оно значит я только потом перевел и понял что это ругательное слово. Я уважаю всех людей разных национальностей и религий. Я сам с кавказа, был в разных странах и тока одна страна которая относится к иностранцам негативно это Россия - это я так считаю. Я понимаю что надо относится к людям разных национальностей дружелюбно, но есть люди которые специально провоцируют чтоб их оскорбили ( касается в онлайновом сообществе ) а потом жалуются. Что касается общение в онлайновом сообществе это совсем другое общение чем в реальной жизни, люди иногда не осознают с кем общаются что за человек передним, какой национальности и что пишут, часто оскорбляют. Я не общаюсь практически в онлайн сообществе, зачем мне сидеть дома по интернету с кем то общаться если я могу выйти на улицу и общаться со своими друзьями или в университете. Я только когда играю по скайпу общаюсь сдрузьями.
Мой вывод я понял что надо общаться с людьми и относитться к разным национальностям положительно, что касается общение в онлайновом сообществе я стараюсь не общаться если только пишу -хпхпхпхпхп, или по игре что пишу.
Я осознал свою вину свое содеянное зло, буду делать чтоб такое не повторилось, я каюсь извеняюсь перед тем кому стало обидно от слова " fuck of niger''. Теперь в онлайн сообществе буду серьезным и положительным ко всем в общении, как в реальной жизни уважать и понимать. Мне бы не хотелось чтоб снова меня забанили, если забанят то все это будет для меня печально и трагично, так как я только в эту игру играю и провел много дней чтоб посвятить ей мое время.

Every time he started to admit his wrong doings in this essay unban thread, he threw the word "But" in there somewhere. Typically that word erases everything said before hand. I'm kinda eh towards it all.

In my school in east london black and asian guys called me honky, chocolate chip cookie (lol, cos Austrian descent), gringo, wigger and more, cos we're all just common people insulting eachother. I returned the favour gladly.
We're all still great friends to this day, ftw.
Some people are so sheltered from life jeez. Banter is banter imo. And even more, like Lord_Panos said, this is the internet and something about church.

I voted 5, and he should be unbanned, cause tbh, if you really get offended by shite ppl write on the internet you need to hit "Shut Down", go get some food, have a coffee, call some friends, go play some football or some shit, cause online is obviously not the place for you.
I dont get offended if someone says about my racial background, humans of all colours and creeds have done outrageously bad shit, none worse than any other, and instead of punishing people for their ignorance we should seek to educate. He seems to have learnt something, so that is done, now is time of reconciliation.

I'll explain something to non-Russian fellas out there:
We Russians don't meet black people out here that often but we do know that N word is insulting to them, our mass-media lets us know it very well.
The only way person like Va1ek can use the N word is to insult and there is no way he could not understand the purpose of this word, i do not believe his essay a single bit.

Valek is harmless. manages to actually come off as a nice guy, even when he cant speak a word of english. me and sparta have been good friends for months, though we must communicate with only "xnxnxnxnxnxnxn"
