Warkworth castle has a place where you can get stuck.
If you go over the right wall -> ladder -> upper way to flag
you can get stuck between building on the right and stairs.

Finished that map I started almost TWO YEARS ago, last night.

Conquest
Aranaceous_Castle - 501kb
Nexusmods (http://www.nexusmods.com/mbwarband/mods/5986/?)
Apparently aranaceous is a synonym for sandy.
Mainpost contains many screenshots.

I guess you know, but the arenaceous map has a bugged overview ingame where all the upper part of the map can't be viewed and therefore you can't select the flags.

A little problem on this map (which is otherwise great :) ) is the small tower near the last flag that is accessed by two wooden suspended bridges. Well, both wooden doors cannot be opened from the outside and therefore the tower cannot be entered.

Edit: About the part where the first wall can be jumped over by the attackers (on the right), it would be better if the ground was lowered and a ladder (or even two) were added.
From a practical point of view, nobody would build a castle with wall that can be jumped over ;)

Looks very good, you should try to use a bit of coloring on the sand, as i did on my siege map "Palace of Marte". That Keep roof seems a bit confusing from what i saw on the screenshots.

New Map; Sanitarium - 186kb
A small retreat set in treacherous terrain, some say it is a secret monastic order others a mental health asylum for those so tragically afflicted.
It happens to occupy a highly strategic and defensible position ripe for the taking!

Interesting map, I really like the detail you put into it. However, there are some concerns I'd like to raise. I feel like the spawns are much too close together for both teams. I also feel like this map favors ranged heavily and will frankly be a nightmare for infantry, especially when the archers are on the rooftops. Also there are a lot of stretched out objects, a big tree, and terrain that takes away from the overall look of the map.

I just feel like the only part of your map people will be using is the buildings, which may have been your purpose. However if that is the case you might want to make it easier for infantry to access the roof so that the archers don't have a field day. More stairs, less ladders that make infantry easy picking and less ledges to have to jump over. I think you need to tweak the spawns to be farther apart, and so that they allow people to go somewhere else on your map besides the buildings.

Overall, I like the idea but I feel like there are a few problems present. Don't take it the wrong way, I really like the attention to detail in the map.

Fair and even handed say Jarold, my thanks.
This map was more of a cleansing exercise and I will revisit it at some point in the future.
The oversized tree was in reference to a real place, never mind.
I will take the rest of your feedback into consideration.

Untitled Map - 61kb finished today.
Maybe some suggestions on what to call it? I didn't and won't choose a name. Feeling obstinate.
Also; press modify if you have the button still. Kek, this forum. Or should I say, Kek my access to it.

Completed today, minimalist; the first screenshots show my completed map with overlay followed by the original vision of the finished map which was less than complete. I have hit some stumbling blocks with these newer maps but; must persevere.

I'm probably just nitpicky but the green environment and the desert buildings don't mix that well for me

if you maybe add 1,2 water places somewhere and change the surrounding environment to a desert it may fit better (oasis-like)

the overall structure, placement of buildings and details is very well made though, already looks fun to play

Thanks for the feedback Ikarus; it really helped me to figure out what has been happening community-side these last few patches.

If anyone happens to know the name of a map they liked from the past or can describe it to me in general terms, this weekend I will be going through my modules looking at maps for inspiration; if you would like me to check if I really do have the map that no-one else does then please post here, PM me or ask someone you can contact to let me know?
I'll do my best and maybe bring back some oldold maps that the community made. :)

I am a big fan of the following maps (these are just some that came to mind)

Would also love to see some fights in castle courtyards or in specific small parts of strategus maps.

Decided to go through it earlier than expected and found some old classics(familiar to my eyes) as well as some of the ones asked for; a siege AND battle version of Trouble in the Neighborhood.
Left out a few of the really really large ones (300+kb)

The ones I listed are all already in the game. Just meant to list them as inspiration for any new maps.

Sorry if I caused confusion there.
