[EU] Capture the Flag [64 man CTF]

Just put up EU_cRPG_CTF server.

Server is currently in test mode, so please report any bugs or exploits found to the dev team ASAP!

Will be running a pretty standard native rotation for abit before anything more fancy is done.

Admins
All EU admins should be informed of password on their forum (Thanks Meow!)
And if you have admin on Melee server you have admin here, will send out a memo later.

Pretty much stay tuned for now, early testing and all that. Filling up damn quick though  :P

Experience/gold ticks are sporadic, I assume due to the endless timelimit and or a way to limit possible abuse. Sadly, the chance for items to break (seem) to be in full swing, since most times a flag is captured after a lengthy period (long after the ticks have stopped), many or all items break. Add in the bad luck factor of items breaking after quick flag captures, and ctf becomes a good way to lose a lot of gold quickly if you gear up to help the team properly.

Many players noticed the tick issues this evening, so I am positive it's not a local problem.

Alternate high athletic/shield builds are fun at first, then half the team end up trying to catch and or horsebump the enemy flag carrier. More of a pet peeve slash suggestion for change than a true issue, though somehow limiting the ctf server to main characters would probably solve it. It's just that given the speed reduction of cavalry while carrying a flag, I sense an intent that a flag capture should require teamwork of a group of attackers, and not one guy blazing away from a pack of sad-faced defenders too fat to catch them.

Regardless, ctf is a fun gamemode and I am glad it was added, many thanks.

I regret to inform you that I will be shutting this server down.

I don't have the time or resources to make this run as smoothly as a CTF server should be run, but as a test server I suppose it has done its purpose and shown future hosters what can be improved upon and what the community would like to see on such a server.

I have contacted some people here on the forums about setting up one. So I'm hoping someone will pick up the torch in the future.
