General Off Topic / Help this poor NA white boy with PC stuff

Alright lads. I have a dream. And that dream, is to play the dog shit out of Warhammer Total War (don't start drama on pre order shit). Only problem is my PC for some reason has a hard time running total war games. Everything else runs fine, but once I start getting into big battles, the frames are as low as 15-30 on average. Too choppy of animations to watch. Makes me cry. And I run my graphics normally somewhere with a medium-high setting on various things. Nothing gets crazy high due to me not being able to run it. I am always trying to tweak them and run benchmarks.
Nerd edit: I guess I should mention this is Rome 2.
So in order to fix this, I require the always tech savy CRPG community to help me out. I got some dinky website to get some (hopefully) accurate specs. Making a very poorly educated guess, I would say it would be my video card. It also doesn't help that the specs for Warhammer Total War aren't out yet, but if you guys have any suggestions, anything would be appreciated.

So I'm sure there's a thread on this already, but I don't really give a fuck.
I LOVE little details in art in things like movies and games. How things get so in depth and people can come up with so many unique creations and concepts.
I would like to know what the fuck you guys are looking at, what the fuck you think is awesome, and where the fuck did you get it if possible.
Fuck you if you say Deviantart. While new stuff is posted on there frequently, all that site has is just a bunch of bullshit with some hentai anime girls senpai kuwaii, my little pony, and furries (stay out clockwork)
This conveniently is nice for me as well because I might start up a hobby in drawing digital art with photoshop and what not.

These are some of the ones I like just off random stuff I have saved. These all vary in what I like about them. One could be very creative, one could be colored well, one could have a certain texture or something that looks very accurate and realistic, one could be abstract, it could be very high quality or hd, good lighting, etc, you get the point.

I was trying to jump down to the flags and save my shit team and my multi. So I tried to do some Assassins Creed bullshit and use the highground to my advantage, hoping to catch someone with my jackknife, tombstone pile driver-esc move. When out of no where I fucking die. I look at the logs and and it was neither a teamate nor enemy, but fat kids' #1 enemy, Gravity. I instantly screenshotted to bring swift justice to this dork, hopefully action will be taken.

Always tries to hard to troll. Must be friends with Mcdeath.

Suggestions Corner / Remove Commander Mode from normal servers

It is very irritating to have to "2" a commander vote every round, if not multiple times a round by some random, inbred twat that thinks its funny. It reminds me back in the day of poll spamming. Very annoying, especially in the middle of fighting and it takes up a quarter of your screen. Is there any way to remove this from normal battle servers? Its a good idea for strat, but I dont know about battles.

So I think one of the best feelings in the world is nostalgia. Being a gamer that can be many, many great games and memories. This thread doesn't have to be necessarily about the oldest thing you remember playing, but rather the one you enjoyed the most. For example my "golden age" of gaming was probably with the PS2. Now I could say tons of other games on tons of consoles and PC (Im pretty much a PC mainly kind of guy now). Like back in the day when I first started PC gaming, it was on Age of Empires 2: Age of Kings, and Rome: Total war. But the best time for me, like I said, the "golden age" was for the PS2. So please share your childhood with me, and relive some of these great games and memories with me!

Hello every one. I assume like the rest of society, you all love good movies and hype movie trailers. So I've decided to start a thread based on movies that have recently come out or are coming out, whether that be a simple trailer on them, or the fact that you watch that movie recently, and open discussions and opinions about the movie/trailer. There of course can be room for classics but I want to focus more on the now rather then.
