Mid round my game sound randomly went away while playing on NA1. I tried restarting my computer/repairing the launcher yet the sound won't come back.
halp.

IDK kesh I think it might be a personal problem.

Reinstall audio drivers. btw did you check your ears?

Alright so I figured out it's only disabled when I'm in a teamspeak server, as is every other sound on my computer.
I've run through the basics of run as admin, disabling that weird plugin, and setting my control panel to "Do nothing" when voice communication is on, yet I can't get it to work.
Can any of you nerds help

Can you manually turn your sound back on? (In order to do so click on the sound thingy bottom right and open the mixer, then slide the desired sound outputs up again)
-
3 things come to my mind that might interfere:
- depending on your windows version, drivers, etc. the "exclusive control" settings (under playback devices -> xxdevicexx settings -> advanced) cause trouble with some applications
- I used to have a similar problem when using WSE2. Since I dumped WSE2 (which has become increasingly FPS-shitty over the past months...) and use the native client again, random loss of sound has never occured again.
- ...and there are the "Communications" settings somewhere in your Sound configuration. When this is accidentally set to "mute all other sounds" or one of the heavier "reduce sound" options, Win might mute everything but the communication program whenever it thinks it "detects communication activity" (like fapping in TS)

Disable exclusive control in the windows audio settings for your speakers / playback device that is being used.
Right click speaker icon > Playback devices > Speakers/headphones > Properties > Advanced > uncheck Allow applications to take exclusive...
