Yesterday, a horrific event took place on the Yoshi people. The Gforce scum attacked and slaughtered us humble Yoshis as we frolicked in our fields by our homeland.

Do not let this massacre go unavenged. 
I ask that you enlist into the remnants of the newly created Yoshi Defense Force, which was created soon after the massacre on our people. We request allies for our cause, the Gforce must not be allowed to slaughter innocents and erase entire peoples. We fight not for expansion, we fight not for wealth, we fight for our freedom.
