If someone M's you, don't worry about it.  Unless you're literally doing your absolute best to TK your teammates or if you're a cav who really, really really doesn't care, you are never going to get auto-kicked period.  It looks more like you were simply dealing with a troll, which is you know, sort of the norm in this community.  The best way IMO to dealing with them is of course, ignoring them. 

Although yes, it's pretty hilarious following Little Lord Lollipop's advice on being an archer:

3 Simple Rules of Archery:

1. Always take the shot
2. Never apologize
3. If they hit M shoot them again

Wanted to join RS, never got noticed.  Probably got thrown under the blanket statement "fuck archers."  In a blind rage I joined BRD instead.

It's funny because Kalam also admired those guys, and when they became CHAOS we worked so hard to try to suck up to our 'big brother' during strat 2.  To this day, it still doesn't feel like we've ever gotten along all that well.  Always that period of feel-good-feelies in the summer with Huey Newton, then once strat starts up it becomes cold war.

I've always been big into roleplaying games (the multiplayer story writing kind, not the mmo grind pigs kind) and on a MUD I played way back when, one of the rules were your name had to sound like a fantasy name and it had to be unique.  As in, not get more than 3 pages on google unique.

10 years later 'Kaelaen' is far more than 10 pages regarding hits, and I'm pretty sure I now share the name with an Indian man, like 3-4 different girls, and 2 other dudes I don't know.

I was going to say 4chan, but I think that's only where I found out about Warband.  I'm fairly certain I found out about cRPG from the talesworld website, browsing multiplayer mods.  The description told me it's like singleplayer but multiplayer, so I was sold right there.

Only wished I could have experienced old cRPG for more than 2 days.  I'd just saved enough money to buy my first bow back then too, and randomly killed some full plate guy accidentally because I was trying to shoot the peasant teammate next to him and hit his head instead.  Peasants have it way too easy these days.

Y'know, the equal footing argument doesn't seem all that fair anymore when you've spent a long time specializing in one thing.  You know, being a nerdier nerd in a really nerdy video game.  Anyway I'll just use myself as an example.  I feel I'd stand a better chance in a duel where neither combatant is wearing any armor, compared to a duel where we have to wear heavier armor.  I've spent so long playing characters who don't really wear armor that it actually befuddles me whenever I'm put in situations where the only armor I can put on is heavy, and I can't freaking move.

Fucking Matey I just finished typing quit ninja'ing me you're a goddamn pirate.

Frisia wasn't around till after Chevalier started up. We started as The Hoplites. A bunch of silent shield wallers with spears trying to survive in a two hand world

I remember those days.  People constantly made fun of you guys because you guys tended to be on the losing team,  but I always liked how you guys stuck together anyway and never rose to the taunting and the jeering.  Yes you guys lost more often than not, but you were new guys up against several clans that have been playing for 2+ years?  There can't be shame in that.  And of course, now that you guys have been here awhile yourselves you're starting to come up with heroes of your own.

As to not lose sight of the topic, welcome back HoC.  It's always nice fighting next to you guys, because few clans let alone people have the discipline it takes to actually hold the line.  Good luck with wherever the wind takes you, and know that the spot for FCC #1 vassal is always open to contention.

Hospitaller_Huseby and Hospitaller_TommyHu.  I don't know about the EU side of things but fast lancer cav is pretty much dead in NA.  Coursers flying with pointy sticks were the cavalry I grew up with playing this game, and it saddens me to see it's dwindled down to pretty much just people in my faction.  Of course, there's also the problem with Huseby apparently not using a courser anymore, and TommyHu just doesn't play at all so... damn.
