Reset everything. Burn all the looms. Let everyone start over. (After rebalancing the items)
Market Manipulators will cry and leave the community (good riddance)
Competitive Players will cry until they realize they can just race back to the top easily enough
Casual Players will cry until they realize that everyone had full looms except for them in the first place
Ultimately everyone will be more active again, clans will return, and the mod will prosper...at least in theory. Otherwise, the mod will just die. Worth a shot.

The tournament is cancelled. It was already delayed a week because no one showed interest and within the extra week only a few did. However, on the actual time of team creation no one was in the server.
So whoever wants to use the template or whatever, feel free. I'm not wasting anymore of my time.

Just to clarify, there are no sign ups.
You just show up during the time of the event and those who wish to participate will be asked to spawn (the rest stay in spectator mode) and I make the teams then and there.
Just make sure you vote at the top of this post so we can get an idea of how large the teams will be.
Anyone can still apply for being an announcer or judge (if no one does then we won't use TS I suppose - and I'll have to find an admin to help judge...or do the roles myself).

Either this is bait or people are genuinely oblivious to the tournaments that are already existing that allow everyone to have a chance to win.

It doesn't forbid good players from joining, but it also doesn't allow them all to stack onto the same teams. Teams are completely random.

I can see you struggled to put those...sentences together, so it is only fair that I reply. This tournament is not designed for everyone. It gives no advantage to tryhards with full loomed everything. It gives no advantage to me or my friends who could have formed an elite cavalry team. It gives no advantage to anyone, and everyone, good or bad, can join it with an equal chance of winning. If you are use to having an 80% chance to win things that you join, I'm sorry but you won't find that here. This is the only tournament that a new player has a chance to meet new friends, learn a bit about the game and the community, and if luck is on their side, actually win.

First off its team based, 5 average players with excellent team work can easily defeat 5 good players who try to be leet hax0r duelists and get mobbed and die. It happened in the 2v2 when Oj and Thumper beat Jay and Lubu through amazing teamwork. Its not hard to get 5 players together, it took me a total of like 2 hours to get a team.
Good luck with your...team. In a 2v2, yes, a top player can make a mistake lol. 4-5 top players are far less likely to and Jay and Lubu specifically aren't making the same mistake twice. I could get a team of unknowns together in 2 hours and lose also, I was commenting on the difficulty of finding a winning team; players who are known for teamwork and/or personal skill.

How did a vote for 5v5 even go through? Did five people who were already prepared for it vote twice on 5v5 successfully creating +10 votes in one category?
How many players, who could actually compete in a tournament on crpg, actually have five friends who also could compete on a tournament in crpg?
There will be 2-3 tryhard teams that have a chance, and the rest are a group of friends just joining for fun with virtually no chance of winning. Easy way to get a free 20-50m exp and a bunch of nice items for those who already have a competitive team.
There is no way to recruit any decent players without joining their clan and shit, or knowing them outside of crpg.
You already have two teams stacked full of the champions of every other tournament or runner ups.
I mean this can seriously only be fun for three types of people:
1. Those who are already champions.
2. Those who already have 5 player team.
3. Those who aren't competitive at all and will just play for fun with no actual intention to win.
Everyone else has two weeks to somehow discover a previously undiscovered crpg top 20 best fighters in NA player, only...FIVE times lmao.
