Historical Discussion / Re: Ironclad

to his defense, I also loved the hell out of Visored Barbuta helmets until I found out that it's not historical. Not a single goddamn knight ever wore that shit. Quite a bummer, still looks cool though

I'm not making this up, my highschool's mascot was, get this, "the Highlanders." The school was established 15 years before braveheart even came out. At pep rallies, we'd paint our faces like mel gibson and my friend actually played the bagpipies. Our fight song was song to the tune of "Scotland the Brave," which is probably one of the most badass songs ever. Picture 2,000 people in a gym stomping to the rhythm of this song with a piper playing right before a football game. I'm not even Scottish at all, but it's badass. I know, i know William Wallace probably didn't speak Galach and didn't wear a kilt and didn't paint his face, but goddammit, who cares.

I dont get why people seek historical accuracy in this.  Nowhere on the DVD box or the posters did it state "historically accurate".  I mean, yea sure, its fun to nitpick, but dont go apeshit over it. Its a movie where some historic parts were mixed with fiction. Big deal. Id say "Braveheart" was a way bigger crime. Basically they kinda shitted on a Scottish national hero and Mel Gibson in blue warpaint became a first thing americans...and well everybody else non-scottish get the image of when they think of Scottland or Scottish freedom. And that is just fucked up.

I am an American and I look at Braveheart as basically a documentary. Freaking love that movie.

I've been playing multiplayer on the native servers. It is not as much fun as c-rpg.

Still actively playing 3v3 and 2v2 if anyone is looking for a game!
Awesome!

They had no attention to touch Poland because it was already German territory and USSR did not plan taking on Germans.

They had already agreed to divide it up between themselves way before that point in a secret protocol of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact.

I am looking for some games like that, can't be RTS, cause I am bad with mouse clicks, though.
If it has a melee element, all the better. Also don't list any LoL type kinda games, I hate those.

My recommendation:

OKCupid--This one is free to play, but you can definitely tell. Still, it's a great roleplaying game, although the grind can be somewhat tedious. Recently I've had some success roleplaying as a doctor, a record producer, and as a European gentleman. Technically, you can play as melee, but I don't recommend. More diplomacy based. Game starts out promising and it can be fun, but, much like WOW, the more successful you are, the more it starts to look like a full time job. Play at your own risk.

I swear to God.

I've been away from this game for a year. I come back to my nerfed-to-shit thrower that I wasted 3 loompoints on, and the first thing I read on here is a thread demanding further ranged nerfs.

Instead of bitching like a little bitch about nerfing classes you're bad against, why not be a man and try to adapt your gameplay to the reality of the current meta.

You probably have helicopter parents.

Yours in mutual enmity til the end of time,
