I just finished the game and wondered if anyone here picked it up or heard anything about it.

Gameplay wise it's a 2D-sidescrolling affair with some lite-platforming aspects and a mostly traditional turn-based battle system. The dev seemed to be influenced heavily by Earthbound and it shows through a good portion of the game.

It piqued my interest when I had first heard about it, promptly forgot about it until it was released, and picked it up after a day or so of deliberation and I wasn't disappointed. The major issues I've heard people having are the fact that it's made with RPGMaker and all the limitations that engine comes with (resolution, key-binding, etc.) while the story/themes are probably also hit or miss, but at the same time I've not really seen or heard a lot of buzz about it and personally "enjoyed" the experience I got out of it.

I noticed this on Steam and it looks like a fantasy, multiplayer arena-combat game with what looks like directional attacking/blocking a-la our beloved Mount & Blade.

Could be fun but I can't really tell too much from the trailers and the only melee weapons seem to be variations of giant swords. Looks like you play dress-up, modify your stats a bit and spam left click; roll around a bit and fire some spells and arrows. I'm thinking for me personally I would've been all over it a few years back, now I'm kind of particular how I play out my power fantasies.

Strategus Issues / Not respawned or invisible?

I'm not sure whether or not I have to do something to respawn or if there was a timer (although I've waited a while now) but I can't see anything on the strategus map except the fiefs. I've tried clearing my cache but that hasn't done anything and I'm a bit confused now.

Now given I was just sitting where I originally started when strat started back but is there any notification for when you're being attacked? I haven't been playing all that often and was never too involved with strat outside of a few random battles I joined but I was wondering if there's any visible warning for this kind of thing.

Even though my playtime has gone down I still log onto my character page every day or two to check trades I'll never make and re-new a title I barely play with but I didn't receive a message saying I was being attacked. However, I did get a message telling me I lost a battle which is something that would've gotten me to play again for a few days.

Edit: It also said I received this message about 4 days after the fact, which is strange because I recall looking at bullshit trades yesterday of 1:1 items where people wanted 100,000+ gold on top

You can now download a "demo" from steam which locks you into the starting classes until you buy the full version but apparently all the currency earned from upgrades carries once you do.

That being said I played for about 15 minutes and couldn't stomach anymore as enemies pooped out other enemies when my back was turned and the UI cluttered the screen obscuring my vision on top of a poor sense of character control. Then I got laughed at for being Level 0 and a noob regardless of how well I did that round.

I don't know if it's my connection either but this game also seems to suffer from the same problem I get when I play Chivalry where I join a game at ~50ish ping but a short ways in and it's acting like 150.

General Off Topic / Comp Upgrade Help

So, I'm lacking a bit in the computer expertise department and was wondering if someone with more know-how would be willing to help me out a bit with upgrading my lackluster PC. It runs most recent games at alright (medium-low) settings now that I've put a "low profile" GPU in it (which involved hacking apart some of the frame so it would fit).

It is this make and model which I bought mostly dirt cheap at Wal-Mart:

Thought it would be time for an upgrade as some of the games coming out aren't playing as well as I'd like them to so mainly I wanted to upgrade the processor and PSU and then after seeing how that worked out upgrading the graphics card in a bit. I'm not looking for top-end gaming hardware as medium-lowish setting work for me just as long as the gameplay is smoother.

For a processor this is what I was considering:

The only thing is on the upgrade information page for my comp it says it only supports AM2+ sockets, even though apparently the one in the computer now is an AM3, I don't know what difference the "+" makes.

For a PSU I considered this:

This was only because it's a "slim line" computer and I'm not sure if anything else would really fit properly in the tower. I guess ideally I would go for something in 400-600 wattage range for when it comes to do the GPU but right now I've only 220w and nothing seems to overheat even though my current GPU recommends 300 or something like that.

Alternatively I considered just upgrading completely and splurging and was wondering if the hardware here would be a good base to start with to keep up to date for a few years:

Thanks for any opinions, I just know the basest of the basics about computer hardware and at first putting my GPU into this computer seemed like a big deal the time.

I was just bidding on a banner and after every bid I was outdone by 1 gold. I sat there steadily increase of increments of 1000 gold, then 5000 gold and then I just went 10000 more and it seems like someone is running a script or something right now. That or I'm really unlucky and one of the three bidders is directly bidding against me but I find the odds less than winning the lottery and it a little suspect that immediately after placing my bid I'm out done by a single gold piece, including the fact that it takes a minute for the site to update.

cRPG Technical problems / Kicked from neutral fiefs?

Why is it that every once and awhile I get booted from a neutral fief and end up somewhere random on the map? Is there anyway to check if I'm getting attacked or some sort of notification on the character page besides going through the battles list? Or am I just randomly being thrown around the map from time to time?

I'm deciding whether I want to shoot for 27 agility or stay at 24 and just convert the attributes to skills. Will that three agility and 1 athletics make much of a difference? Thoughts?
