Strategus General Discussion / Goods Cost
« on: March 22, 2016, 05:45:48 pm »
Hello C-rpg players

Drehar, Long time Battler new comer to Strat. I noticed some towns pay 1/2 price for goods from across the map. Why is that? Is there a hidden Supply and demand for goods I don't know about?

Example I bought goods for 15s traveled across the map for a close to 400% bonus and the town I went to only offered me base 6s for each good that I payed 15s for. The bonus for travel was still applied but in the end I only made a small profit because of the base price

On this server you will find a lot of player interaction to over come powerful enemies human and AI alike. Join The God's Land now claim your land and become part of our world.

Getting Started
The God's Land requires no extra files to play on. All mods managed are server side, so no additional downloading for you. Connect to the server and begin your adventures. Start by visiting the coin bank near spawn to get some basic starting supplies (This re-spawns every 24 hours).

Claiming Land
Carefully adventure out into the world using your wooden shovel to claim your land. Players start off with a total of 400 blocks that can be placed wherever they like (10x10 =100 blocks minimum plot size). This is your land to do what ever you want with. On your property you can give permissions to friends and work together to achieve your goals. More land can be purchased with in game currency (Coins) obtained through trading or the Coin bank near spawn.

Heroes Classes and Professions
Each player is able to choose 1 class (12 total) and a profession (7 total). Classes provide useful combat or survival skills where as professions provide more support uses. You can level up 1 class to 20 cap obtaining 4 skills along the way. At any time you may change class or profession to change your play-style. All classes have a Mark and Recall skill at level 1 that you can use to set a portal location with. This is often used if you get stuck or lost. cRPG Technical problems / Issues with server
« on: April 29, 2013, 01:44:23 am »
Earlier today 4-28-13
there was some issues with the server/my steam and none of my characters "Belonged to me" So I played an alt character. Now my old toons work and I can play them. No big loss but I was hoping to at some point transfer the gold from him back to my main. I think I got around 4k on my alt.
Now it says that my alt Drehar_WTF doesn't belong to be but my normal toon Drehar_ManatArms_of_TKoV works fine.

Any way I can free up Drehar_WTF ? All I really want is the 4k I got while on him.

Suggestions Corner / New Game modes
« on: December 05, 2012, 08:26:31 pm »
Has any thought/intrest come from the development team to code any new game modes?
I LOVE CRPG and all the MnBlade combat mechanics it enhances. The only down side is I find the game modes get a little boring from time to time. None of the ideas i'm praposing are truely unique but I think they would provide a decent amount of entertainment for the players.

VIP - 1 player is chosen as the king and has to be escorted from Point A to B with limited defender spawns. Player range 10-30. Gold/EXP awarded as normal based on win or loss

Comand - 5 Flags on the field that must be raised. Each team will gain 1x exp for each flag they control. On average 1 team will have 3x and the other weill have 2x rounds last for 10 Mins each. player range 20+

Super Soldiers Battle- Teams will be split unevenly and bonuses will be given to the smaller team of "Super soldiers" like a 5 v 15 match and the 5 players are given a speed,hp, and damage bonus.

Strategus General Discussion / Strat to CRPG battle trade
« on: November 21, 2012, 09:31:05 pm »
Sorry I don't have anything to trade at the moment. I'm just looking to see if people are paying CPRG battle money for Strat money at a decent rate? I wouldn't mind doing some Strat if it helps me get more looms faster.

If they are paying whats the conversion ratio ? is it even worth it?

Beginner's Help and Guides / Armor and its benefit
« on: May 10, 2012, 09:34:44 pm »
So I was bored today and was crunching numbers at work to decide what Body armor,Gloves, and Boot combo I was going to use.
All this time I had the mind set that having leather gloves was a good way to go. After running some numbers together I found

1. When deciding armor first determine the Armor value you want for your body.
2. Find a suit of armor + glove combo that reaches that armor
3. EX... I used 54 armor as my testing I ran.
Body  50/16
Gloves 4
Legs 38

Out of all the combo's I tried this one yielded the best results. having a cost of 21,001 and giving me 54 body 54 leg,

Any how long story short What I've found is getting body armor based on +leg armor really didn't matter. unless you wanted more then 60 Leg armor. It will always be cheaper to make up the armor difference on legs with better bots then to get the armor with good leg defense.

Am I figuring this correct or have I done my numbers wrong or am I missing a factor?

Buy / Buying +2 Body
« on: April 14, 2012, 06:02:01 pm »
I'm Looking for a +2 Body armor for around 700k
I will be willing to pay more when I get more money. However at the moment 700k is the best I can offer.
I will modify this post when I reach 800k and up.

Don't wait to long or I will have found what I need!

Beginner's Help and Guides / Strength and weight allowances
« on: April 12, 2012, 05:20:31 pm »
strength and weight allowances.
I read on the wiki that STR effects how much weight you can carry effecting the amounts you are encumbered by heavy armor.

Is there a formula I can find for this any where you can link. or is some one able to share it here?

Is it something like your STR=Weight Before burden
Some one with 15 str can carry 15 lbs of weight before feeling feeling the effects slowing you down?
Some one with 30 str can have 30 lbs of wight before being slowed ect?

How exactly does str effect weight allowance at all even?

From what I seen i don't see anything showing this to be the case it seems odd that some one with 9 str and 27 agi would move faster in heavy armor then some one with 27 str and 9 agi in heavy armor.

Suggestions Corner / Open World Map
« on: April 10, 2012, 09:54:29 pm »
Hey folks I'm new about 10 days into C-RPG and thus far my stay has been amazing. I must bring up one issue I have though and that is Map Modes. While Siege and Battle are great game modes and rage ball is fun for an hour or so. Defend the V is a bit under balanced. With missing maps It got me thinking about an open world map.

Open World map
This map would give the player many different things to do to get experience and gold as well as hours of entertainment also a good breading ground for new players. This would take an extensive amount of coding and AI.

First Question is it possable to trigger events on a map without causing to much lag or crashing the serer?
Things like triggering NPS spawns or activating Events. Pressing F at a King in his chair will have him ask you to attack the other castle. ECT Mini quest scripting Basic IF/Then triggers

Features
1. This map would be much larger then most maps and contain several areas of interest such as
2 Villages Farms 2 Castles some ruins a lake and a river.
2. Professions Players would be able to interact with Destructible objects as trade skills.
Smithing- Players will pickup a hammer and smash on forges for experience produce weapons and move them to the market.
Horse taming- chasing down wild horses and returning them to stables.
Lumberjacking- Using an ax chopping Tree's gathering the wood and taking it to a mill.
3. NPC Combat Small groups of bandits roam the map to hinder your ability to travel for professions.
4. Jousting Arena Players will activate something to cause them to re-spawn on their horse in one of 2 spots
5. 2 Castles with NPC guards Friendly until other wise triggered.
6. Many other small events that could be added without causing to much server instability.

The Purpose for this map would give newer players a way to earn some experience without being Fodder in battle/ siege maps. Able to earn = to 1000 exp and 50 gold per min rate doing side jobs. Also a little bit better of a Role Playing experience for those that wish to in the larger open map. I expect this map to be utilized much like the duel maps are for socializing and practice. This will also ad a little bit more of an MMORPG feel to the map as well. If its also do able the ability to purchase/trade Weapons and armor on this map.

Beginner's Help and Guides / 18/18 Sword board Crossbow
« on: April 10, 2012, 06:59:28 pm »
This is my Defender build. I want to make a char that can do a few things well. Mainly focused on Siege games.

Level 30 (4 420 577 xp)

Strength: 18
Agility: 18
Hit points: 65
Skills to attributes: 2
Ironflesh: 6
Power Strike: 6
Shield: 5
Athletics: 6
Riding: 0
Horse Archery: 0
Power Draw: 0
Power Throw: 0
Weapon Master: 6
One Handed: 135
Two Handed: 1
Polearm: 1
Archery: 1
Crossbow: 101
Throwing: 1

I have 5 in shields but I'm not sure that I need this much. I wanted to get some input on people that have used shields and cross bows.
1. Do I have enough slots for Crossbow Bolts 1 hand and shield?
2. Do shields take up 2 slots per 6 ac?
3. Has any one done this build before and can let me know of their experience?

I thought about dropping 2 from shields if 5 is over kill. I figured I'd be using 1 hand and shield all the time and sub out crossbow for when it would be used. maybe 1 hand 2 shields for attacking and 1 hand 1 shield cross bow for defending. Or I might take the ballistic rout and 1 hander.

With the 2 points I get extra I was thinking of picking up riding to get a basic horse just for mobility.  Getting from spawn to the flag when attacking.

So I guess my final question on the build is:
Do I need more then 3 in shields to shield for it to be effective.
