Man, the market demand sure is wierd sometimes... Battlegrounds didnt even get 50k in 30 days. This thing, made by the Oatmeal and 2 other guys, earned 3 million in 3 days. Their goal was 10k.  :D

A little forum bump.

I got a very wierd theory. This might be an utterly stupid assumption. But I got curious. The Earth is 4.5 billion years old. Man(or manish being) could potentially evolve and build a very large society(somewhat similar to ours) multiple times during that timeline and even the slightest effect they had and proof of their existence could easly desinegrate and be buried in less than million years. Is such a thing possible or am I just high again?

Who made this? One team starts from elevated point where they can instantly start shooting the other team coming out of their spawn from relatively close distance, from where they have to go around to reach that elevated area. This map was not made for battle gamemode while considering ranged.

Not something you should consider as priority, but atleast look into it. That random yell your character gives out whenever its about to make a swing. I dont know how many times my sneakattack backstabs have failed cause my character cant shut his bloody facehole.

Appears that they tried really hard to make it look cool. All the trenchcoats and monsters and whatnot. But when your gameplay is just this stale not even Fonzie can save it.

Found it on Steam by accident. Was free 2 play so I figured what the hell. The name is just completely retarded. "Duh I quess we cant call it Ghost Recon Ghosts, so lets call it Phantoms". The name is also stupid because there aint much ghosting(Phantoming), since its mostly straight up heavy firefights.
Despite the stupid name I played a few matches sofar and I kinda like it. All the gadgets kinda keep it from turning into coverwars and the covermechanics and movement are just so enjoyable. Atleast I enjoy it. It feels so fluid. Give it a go guys and add here if you got stuff to add about it.

Now I am sure that the teams have probably better things to do then concern themselves with an issue that I have, but im gonna give it a shot anyway. I freaking love the Red brigandine over mail. It is fucking awesome and ive been using it almost exclusively eversince it got added, but good god, why does it have those stupid kneearmors that dont fit with even a single pair of boots in the entire game. The only thing that fits with this armor is pantyhose, but I dont want to wear pantyhose, nobody really does, when it comes to such heavy armor as this.

Couldnt someone tweak the kneepart a bit so it would look good. Kinda like in these armors:

Now im pretty sure tweaking would screw up its perfect match with the pantyhose, but honestly as far as ive seen, the few people who even use these armors wear it with the pantyhose simply cause nothing else matches. Im pretty sure they would like some descent looking pair of boots on it aswell.

This is a very cool armorpiece, but the legpart just cocks the whole thing up.

Yes. I have been playing with a shield for so long and I still dont know how it works. A shield with a higher speed rating makes you swing your weapon faster then a slower shield? If so then how does it calculate between the weapon and the shield speed? Is +/-10 points in shield speed a noticable difference?

I would have put this question in search, but the words "shield" and "speed" don't exactly guide me in the right direction.

Recently I have had the sudden urge to play games where you earn cash and develope your buisness. So im kinda looking for tradingsimulators of sort. Anyone got something in mind? Preferably a game where you can screw with the competition in more than just taking their costumers. Just simulators are fine too.

Sofar my favorite is "Guild" series. But because it was developed by fucktards at Jowood the game is a buggy clusterfuck. I kinda liked it cause you could go from a small farm into a giant medieval evil corporation, while trying to increase the legacy of your House and abusing the system for your advantage to make sure the competiton stays under your fist. I liked it, cause you could use the cash you earned for so much more things than just gaining influence and taking buisnesses. You could use it to mess around with the people, towns, markets, families just for the lolz.

Sooo im kinda into that kind of thing. The Patrician series im aware of. Im not scared to go all-out retro too, aslong as its got enough depth and entertainmentvalue.

General Off Topic / My laptop

I basically got some laptop supercheap a little while ago and I think I might need some assistance here figuring this thing out. Its a HP Pavilion g6. I know, I know, HPs are sucky, but I got it cheap. Im not new at this PC thing, but this one is getting me stumped. I have some issue with the intergrated videocard. Its litterally so bad, that it even has hardships playin Solitare(not joking, im serious), let alone things like GTA2 or smthing.

 Processor: AMD A8-4500M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics    (4 CPUs), ~1.9GHz

Ive reinstalled windows multible times to it and looked up all possible drivers I could and still nothing. And I couldnt find what the acctual videomemory of this PC should be and the dxdiag couldnt really figure out the approx. total memory. Please help. Also what does (4 CPUs) mean?

Its quite a descent game. Conviction was a piece of garbage game mainly having pewpew going for it. This one is like a mix between the old splinter cell games and the convictiongarbageone with a bit of Assassins Creed added. The combat can be suprisingly fluid for a shooter stealthgame.

Ofcourse I pirated it. I would definately buy it if I sufficient money to get it. Already cause thinking about COOP stealthy shadow tactic using with a parter is making me druuuuuul.
