The combat is just so clunky feeling. I guess we'll just have to remember the good times we had in the past. :cry:

if crpg warband servers were still up id be playing that instead of bannerlord, the combat is so slow clunky unresponsive and boring. been playing alot of warband mods lately, theres something about warband combat that gets my adrenaline going, a mixture of being fast paced and feeling like i have more precise control

i started chambering a bit, it helps if I block in the direction theyre coming and then swing out of the block last second

I've been playing for the past week and a half almost everynight. It just sucks. I can't wrap my mind around how anybody thinks that bannerlord combat is better than warband.

Yeah it just feels so imprecise... I guess its just best to leave the glory days in the past. Its Bannerlord that is holding it back, not the new mod I should clarify too. I also suppose the old personalities being gone makes it a worse experience too.

very much this! I miss the crispness and accuarcy of warband a lot in bannerlord. I really did try liking it and crpg2 does improve the bannerlord combat a lot, but even after 220 hours I just can't get much fun out of it. Close combat feels like ass and, I say it again, without chambers, it's dull and boring af

but is it reliable?
Namidaka changed how chamber work in the mod a few months ago and it is way better since then. It really does feel reliable now, you should give it a try
