Title: Diplomatic Channel in steam
Post by: kinngrimm on June 02, 2011, 08:10:23 pm
Hi lads,

in addition to the Diplomatic List of leaders and diplomats of the several factions.
We have established a steam group for the same people.

As myself had the problem finding the people i wanted to speak with, within steam, i thought a categorized group for that purpose only would be nice to have.

To make this work i suggest you add in your steam profile a small part which describes your position in your faction. To get in the group in the first place add one of my diplomats or myself to your steam friends list and we will invite you into the group.

If someone has already a lot of steam contacts to crpg diplomats and leaders and would want to add those and help us this way, my diplomats or myself will give you moderator rights in the group so you can invite your contacts. But please only diplomats and leaders otherwise the purpose of this group wouldn't be fulfilled.

I am looking forward to have a tool at our hands which helps our community.

Im not really comfortable inflating my Steam friends anymore than it already is, just setup an IRC Embassy or something.

Being in the group doesn't exactly mean that you have to be friends with them all, or add them to your friendlist.

that is one of the reasons i made an additional group,
so i can keep a little more overview about my contacts.
But feel free to make an IRC Embassy as well, then again why should i use another tool when there is already one in place which can be used for the purpose.
