I decided to break from years of tradition and write an actually serious guide.
- hide in cover and ask a fellow ranged to shoot him down

- become ranged and kill him

- use a shield
or
- ignore him and dodge his attacks because he´s barely hitting you and if he hits, the damage is minimal anyways

3. Overrated tbh when they can just bump you
4. Gl dodging an arabian horse with 10 riding skill. Minimal damage still adds up to a more significant amount than the zero damage you're doing to them.
if they got a light horse, they won´t survive more than a few bumps until their horse goes down (as long as you keep hitting it when it comes close), if they got a fattie horse it´s easy to dodge, either way get a pole then, shield is not overrated, it´s damn useful
have more faith in my old friendchers in your team, some of them do have a brain after all and can help you if you want them to help you
also, you don´t have to become my old friendcher, you could also just add a couple of points to throwing, if they want to hit you they have to come close anyways cause their accuracy is shit and once people get hit by HA they get super dodgy. Looking at the current builds which are around atm, you probably can even kill a HA easily with a couple of +3 stones if you´re into that

Well I was talking about playing against scrubby EU HAs and not being online against any of the really good NA ones, but sure, post your screenshots of your top tier kdr using an xbow so the ping disadvantage barely matters. Anyways I think it's safe to say that you've since lost this here disagreement seeing you had to resort to posting scoreboard pics first. GG wp. :wink:pfft I can run circles around HA on my rock thrower and only get hit rarely.

I still think that this old "NA players are better than EU/ EU players are better than NA"-dispute is just rubbish though.
Just wanted to give some genuine advice for playing against HA but you just seem to be pissed in general

It is actually scientific fact that NA are superior to EU. Don't believe me? NA 3 me you baddie

Horse archers just need to swear a martial vow so they can be unerffed.

Right, but you also become immune to the things that might actually take out a horse archer, like a lucky spear strike, or other ranged classes.you also become immune to winning in that case, a 1h or lance cav build with the same armor is way more efficient here than some heavy armored no-aim-HA
I always believed HA was one of the hardest classes to actually play effectively pre-nerf, now it is just a joke class that is outpeformed by every other on in the game.
But even though I enjoyed playing HA it really should stay that way to be honest, the class is extremely obnoxious and awful for every single player in the server except the one playing HA. It's sad but you can't have a class like that be powerful or it's just game ruining.
I have 30 strength and still manage 6 athletics it ain't so bad. Horse archery is nerfed to hell atm does hardly any damage.
Damn 100 people on 1 team crpg is booming.
