Good joke, bro. I live in Russia, and I play this mod like 3 days per week. :D

Vikingr? :D

I tried to play that once.  Really cool concept -- REALLY slow gameplay.

Yeah it can be slow. But the looks and slot systems and inter class balance is very strong.

It was intended to be slow actually, to be more realistic. I think vikingr is one of the examples how complete realism can be a "little" bit boring. But I like vikingr nonetheless, if not for that class limit. It has to have a class limit of course. However playing as an infantry all the time bores me and there's not enough pop most of the time for me to play cav/ranged. In fact, most of the time there's not enough pop for anyone to play a different class. I wish more people would play it.

I'm no expert, but I think Vikingr is a LOT slower than real life.  Watch some Hema fights and such to get an idea of medieval fight speed.

I, too, wish there were more people playing it to give it a fair try though.

Actually I was referring to movement speeds. The attack speeds are indeed a bit slow.

When there was a 30 player battle on most days it was nice, but too few these days I agree. Saxons best faction btw: If you manage to get saxon archer class, ditch the bow and get the huge bag of javelins, so nice to break enemy shield wall and bring down those pesky norman horses.

BTW: Horses in vikingr actually sound like horses, it amazing/scary when they come for you. Overhead stab with spears is nice too, and breaking the vikingr lines as normans, charging thru on horseback and beheading a guy... priceless!

PS: cRPG should totally get kneeling and beheading, both very amusing!

I wish that when other M&B mods fade into that good night, the modders join up with mods that are still alive and kicking in order to add the best features from their mod to this one.

I dunno, do you WANT muskets? cause that's how you get muskets. :C

I really like that "dark screen" effect when you get knocked down. It's also gives you horrible feelings at the same time neutrally :D
