Title: Effective Stat caps for GW2
Post by: Havoco on July 31, 2012, 12:00:10 am
Will stat caps be similar to other MMOs? Does anyone know what they are, or if they will even exist in GW2? I was using a Build calculator and that doesn't seem to track it. I was able to get crit chance over 90%.

Hmm, I couldn't find anything about it on gw2 forums either. Guess I'll just have to find out when it releases.

Anyways, I made a build that could get more than 90% possibly 100% given the right stacks.

http://www.gw2build.com/builds/dual-wielding-warrior-crit-stack-crit-stack-warrior-1572.html (http://www.gw2build.com/builds/dual-wielding-warrior-crit-stack-crit-stack-warrior-1572.html)

but i think anything over 67 percent crit chance is overdoing it a bit.

Keep in mind that the stat calculator doesnt account for the unique traits, just the stats u get from putting points into them. Also, judging from the calculator, that 10 precision is roughly 2.5% crit chance.

I wouldn't expect GW2 having no stat caps or diminishing returns

Apparently it has no diminishing returns. I am sure it has stat caps though.
