Recently I wanna play Minecraft again, havent played in years. Anybody wanna get a little survival server for the cRPG community with me going?

Almost any of them . Tolkiencraft II is not bad. It takes place in Middle Earth(you need to make some missions to unlock the portal to middle earth) and there are npcs and stuff.
Most popular one is Skycraft 2 but thats boring as fuck.
Just download modpack launchers and pick one that looks interesting to you.
3 modpack launchers which contain good modpacks :

AT Launcher
Technic Launcher
FTB Launcher

I also can recommend Infinity Pack in FTB . There is something called expert mode (you need to use some commands in the chat to unlock it) Which is basically harder crafting recipers and alot more.

Did they finally update Technic to the latest MC version?

And how do you get Tolkiencraft to work, it seems to be a mess right now and I end up with a half empty world, and completely outdated tutorials.
