Beginner's Help and Guides / 1h shielder build
« on: February 27, 2013, 02:14:16 pm »
Hello I need some help with my build. I'm, currently using this:

Strength:18
Agility:19
One Handed:144
Weapon Master:5
Athletics:6
Shield:4
Power Strike:6
(8 converted skill points)

Just for you to know, I'm aiming for some type of offensive shielder, so I need some speed for that to mantain the distance from my foe because I'm using the military pick or one handed battle axe.

I want my build to look like this on lvl 30:
Strength:18
Agility:21
...but i dont know where should i put those 2 remaining skill points. I think putting them in IF is useless because my shield is my armor. I also use light-medium armor.
What do you think about this build? Could you suggest anything for me? Or any advices from skilled shield users?

Thank you in advance,

Aethelwolf

It depends. They have only stab which is difficult for them but I've seen people on the top of the scorebord that were hoplites. For example Wolves_QuisUtDeus is hell of a good hoplite. He was destroying people there. Sooooo...no. I wouldn't add overhead for hoplites.

Indeed. I have to say that crpg devs have made a lot of things for us players since the start of crpg. And they are not even payed for it (only by donations). But on the other hand the devs shouldn't rest on one's laurels. By this I'm not saying that they do nothing,  I know they are working on crpg...It would be just awesome if they communicated with the player base more and do some things that can be realised to give the game a new cape, which would maybe lure new players to play crpg :) Keep up the good work anyway, I know you didn't give up on this mod

It looks awesome but as Oberyn said..too many bushes that block the view. Not talking that some people with wooden pcs would experience low fps and other problems

General Discussion / Re: Is the cRPG Lottery Worth It?

It isn't worth it until you are a lucky person. I won only once (I bought one ticket) but just something around 17k. From this time, I always buy 5 tickets and never won a shit, so.  :D

I am curious again, because I've started using xbow hybrid and I got used to aim from the third person. But! Many people say that the first person aiming is better because straight POV, shooting through objcets and so on. Thanks in advance

Many warriors in history believed that naming your weapon brings you luck. If you have any names for your weapons then feel free to post them. Mine are for example: Widowmaker, Shadowsong, Souleater.
