Yeah a lot of people are unsure which game works with this mod.  Make sure if you have any friends that want to play this mod with you that they only need Warband.

I'm a bit confused why anyone would purchase the old M&B over warband. Why even still have that on sale?

Normally we would get a few hundred new CRPG players from a steam sale, but because the stupid fuckers released the Fire and sword garbage, everyone will buy it, think that we are all from fucking poland and be scared away. Fire and sword is complete garbage, just so you dont make the mistake of buying it. All the new players will not buy Warband because normally people just buy the newest version of a game :(:(:(

I bought both M&B and Warband because there are some interesting mods for M&B that aren't and probably will never be ported to WB. I sill play Star Wars: Conquest, and Revenge of the Berserk when I'm bored.

I can dig those.

Also, here's hoping for some more new cRPG players!

I bought Warband and didn't buy F&S when F&S came out.  Warband had great reviews, F&S had crap reviews, so I bought the good one.  I'm sure anyone buying the game would look it up and see that all the reviews say Warband is better.

Currently only the original M&B (v0.808) supports the astounding The Last Days (http://mbx.streetofeyes.com/index.php/board,20.0.html?PHPSESSID=edtrbo2fl088rjpvtembq1ihe4), a Lord of the Rings mod. They're trying to port it to the latest version of M&B at the moment. They might try to port it to Warband after that.

That's the only reason to buy the original IMO. Warband is much better in all regards.
