I continued on from what I was doing here - http://forum.melee.org/diplomacy/war-on-apostates/msg856166/#msg856166
For those that can't be bothered reading the other thread. All I have done is add each factions current troops to their expended troops and then calculated expended troops as a percentage of that total to give a score.
Included in the table are all existing land owning clans that have a total troop count (current + lost) of at least 5000. Where clans have simply changed names I have attempted to find and add in their old losses as well for continuity. Where more complicated diplomatic crap has occurred I have simply ignored it :D

Note: Take this with a pinch of salt as the numbers don't take into account any kind of circumstances whatsoever :D

69%..... That's all I care about.
-
Vermilion is 1 l not 2 :)
It's very important you get that right.. I'm a very big influence in the outcomes on strat!!!
Nice chart btw
One thing though.. As a percentage of troop usage wouldn't you need to take into account fief garrison
(Each fief needs to be protected therefore the more fiefs you have the greater the number of 'unused' troops needs to be).
Say for example 1000 troops for a village, 3000 of a castle and 5000 for a town are troops which are currently being used to protect against invasion. (any troops above this level are the 'excess' troops which could be used for battle etc)
-
I don't understand how a score is a score. What I do know, however, is I like pie charts.
-
It's basically how many troops you have / troops you have lost
-
Well, at least we're leading strat in something, lol
-

No - it is how many troops_you_have_lost / troops_you_have_or_have_had
-
Frisia has performed exactly as I would have desired.

I experimented with that but that is affected too much by current circumstances. For example right now FCC and Apostates have an unnaturally large number of troops per fief because they are on the defensive. In a week/month/whatever the situation could have completely changed making any score i create today completely out dated. The simple troops_lost / total_troops calculation takes into account the past though and so is more accurate (relatively speaking ofc ).
What I really want to do is renown / total_troops where renown is calculated based on each army's gear used and not just on the total gear used in battle. That would actually give some informative data.

So wait.. you want a larger number? So hospitallers has the worst lost to total ratio, therefore making them the least effective clan in strategus?
-
FCC has lost more troops than any other faction EU or NA. yeesh! all that xp! delicious xp!

Or the faction that turtles the least.
Anyways pretty sure were only on top because of our assaults on ichamur.

A lot of it was when you got gang-fucked by us, FCC, Dracul, and Raven back in the day.
Yeah, a lot of it had to do with all parties involved in the dicking end tried really hard and had many more active strat-minded members, but it was a gang-fuck nonetheless.

Pretty sure you turtled plenty, but you got shit on when you did. I'm not saying that to be an edgy troll or anything, but basically what Sandy is saying.
The "score" in this thread is completely pointless.

You're fat.

Plox 2 add my clan.

In EU (don't know about NA) there is roughly a 1:1KD between the big faction wars (see the post Tomas linked to).
So if you have 80% that means you've used a lot of the troops you have farmed (which is good because it means you've had lots of fun battles/EXP)
It also means you will have killed lots of your enemy.
If you only have 20% or below it means you most likely haven't really done anything to effect strat and you're just stacking troops (like me :P)
-
It is a general battle activity score (both defensive and offensive) not a competency score.
This is why renown needs changing to reflect relative equipment lost by armies. As then we can actually see how well clans do with the resources (both tickets and money) they have available.
-
Well, at least we're leading strat in something, lol
not a competency score.
-
I'm pretty sure Havoc realized that, as did 99% of the people who clicked to read the thread. Hence his "lol".
-
Damn, look how good FPF is doing. The rest of you real clans should be ashamed.

There are no real clans. Only FCC vassals.
-
Lol. I don't even see KUTT on this list, we must have scored in the negatives.
Fuck me..

Actually you'd be over 100% :P I think it's cuz KUTT doesn't hold any lands currently, and may have made it harder for OP to find your scores.

You need existing land
-
KUTT: 134% efficient.
-
134% fun efficiency. You're playing the game right if you're using troops for glorious xp.

Technically they would be at 100% since you'd need to have negative troops now to have less total troops than you lost :P
If I was including every dead clan though I'd have around 50 of them on 100% making the whole thing even more rubbish than it is. What I'd actually need to do is work out daily scores and average them over the entire round. That would need automating though as nobody in their right mind would want to do that manually :D
-
Once again it is proven, that Americas lords are moving their fat asses more then all these european wankers...

They sold several thousand to me, thus making them have less troops than were lost in combat.
134% Efficient.
