Fieflord of ismirala castle transferred it with 20k troops to wolves, he also took 500k of our clanbank and left the ladder.

It kinda fucked up eu2 because all the ranged went there, but that was kinda fun as well  :mrgreen:

About a week ago ptx reintroduced me to empire earth (yes the first one)
So now me tore and ptx play it, and i noticed others were interested as well.

This site here gives a pirated version of the game, + a lobby (sierra closed the official servers and lobby shit)

Nostalgia!

Simple, during the reinforcement window, you are capable of storing gear you don't want to use in battle.
You put them into crates, and thus they won't show during the battle.

Why?

Avoids the overkill on gear bug that makes half your ranged and siege equipment unusable untill 10-20 minutes into the battle :!:


Whole idea is inspired by vovka's post:

  We already have enough trouble with modifiers armor after the fight, which is why you are forced to clean up more than 100 items with different modifiers. It would be nice to combine your stupid idea and a stupid strat system to another over a stupid system - and prohibit the use of weapons looted from the battlefield until to be fixed for the % of its value. Until then, it will be stored in crates.
  If you allow repair only from character's inventory, and prevent while fief under siedge - its eliminate this stupid cases where the besiegers are sponsoring fiefs with their own weapons after of imminent defeat against the garrison at 3+k troops because of another stupid system

Figured it would be easily overlooked, and a great idea deserves some attention.

Strat/ forums work fine.

As the title says.
Most clans have their allies etc in their roster, and know most of them.
However, it would be useful to see which randomers perform well in strategus battle, so they get a better chance to get hired.

Also usefull for factionless players, that are unfamiliar with the playerbase.

On top of that, small factions/ faction-less players that don't use ts3 for rostercalls can select on reliability this way.

Shiould not be hard to implement, switch between bodkins/ normal arrows.

Equip a stack of arrows for the peasants and other low armoured scum, equip bodkins vs higher armoured cunts, be able to switch between those 2 at any give time (with small delay ofc, like switching any wep)

The X key isn't used by archers anyway, use it for arrowswap.

Suggestion that might help the current state of stacking in fiefs a bit.

First, each fief gets a garrison size. You only have a limited amount of barracks/ bed that you can fill with soldiers, so you can't put more in them.


Second, you have camps around the fief, where the rest of your soldiers can sleep. This means you get a map with tents and perhaps some wooden spikes, that doesn't have the advantage of high walls, unbreakable gates and that kind of shit. All troops that don't fit in the fief will station there, to a higher upkeep rate then fiefs, but lower then open field. If you attack a fief that has one of these camps, you first have to fight the camp obv. To prevent abuse (1 man camp to gain time), a camp has to be at least 1k? troops.

Things to prevent abuse:
Max camp size, 3000 troops, if you cross that line, a second camp will be made and the 2 of them can be attacked simultaneously.



Is there something to this idea?

Army: 31853

So in the case of Narra, it would be:
Garrison of town
8-9 camps of 3000 men, that can be attacked at the same time. Upkeeps will go up in those camps. Makes it less usefull to build up troops in a castle/ town.

Add an option to define your strat warrior. Now its your main by default, but many don't like their char for strat.

Give everyone the chance to make something your strat char other then the main.
1 char only, which you only get to choose once per strat (unless you delete it ofc)

Allow alts to sign up for strat battles.
Needless to say only 1 char can be accepted per battle. Or only 1 char can apply per battle.
