How to make Loomed Body armor less OP but still good

The second Loom shouldnt increase Body armor, but reduce weight by, lets say 2.0 Points for medium, 3.0 for heavy and 1.0 for light armor.

That way, Armor bonus will still be ok, and the fact that the ARmors become lighter will be a plus also, but not as big as the additional body armor.

I personally think Loomed armor is okay, but since the topic comes up here and then I decided to introduce you to my idea.
Maybe it woud be better for me to find out where you life and kill you when you are satch a Soziopath. You have enough now.

Agree,

BUT

Make weight reduce same for all armors. Loomed heavy armor is op enough, we don't want a shitload of lordly tincans, do we?

Well, yeah.Obviously the Amount of reduced weight would need to be tweaked by more experienced item balancers than me :)

Body
Thick + 2 to body and leg armor
Reinforced + 1 to body and leg armor
Lordly - 1 to weight, + 1 to body and leg armor (If weight of item already is less than 1 - add +1 to armor instead) Don't think that there are too many overpowered peasant armors.

Hands
Thick + 2 to body armor
Reinforced + 1 to body armor
Lordly - 0,2 to weight, + 1 to body armor (If weight of item already is less than 0.2 - add +1 to armor instead) Don't think that this make leather gloves overpowered peasant armors.

Head
Thick + 2 to head armor
Reinforced + 1 to head armor
Lordly - 0,2 to weight, + 1 to head armor (If weight of item already is less than 1 - add +1 to armor instead) Don't think that this make peasant hats overpowered peasant armors.

I personally think its better if the second loom is ONLY weight. That way, people NEED to do it to get a lordly one with good armor stats. The way you did it, I´d just stick with reinforced for the most part if I dont care for weight.

I've never played a server where people split up as much or as often as on EU1.  No wonder range is having a field day.

Umm, my light armour already weighs nearly nothing (for example my gloses weigh 0.125 kg or so).
So in the end i would lose 2 armour points for a weight of 2.5 kg (0 for the gloves and 2.5 for body armour) in instead of 3.625 kg.

I see no real improvement here.

Yes, I said, Tweaks necessary.Maybe exclude light armors under x weight per se, so the Light armor loom gets better in comparison.
