I darkened the colors put it in the game files and checked out the result (on heavy heather shield and heraldic) both were fine, and visible. Hope this helps!

I think the fact that the dorsal fin of the small sharks is hidden by their tail fin takes away some of their "sharkness" and makes them look like cute little fishes

Does anyone know why the KC snake banner shows up in a mirror image in game, do we just need to reverse it to make it look normal? The snake is facing right instead of left and it looks like an S. :( Also on one of the heraldic mails the back is showing up as yellow, I don't see a way to control that but other groups have like colored backs on the same armor. 3. A perferably 132x330 sized pic of the banner you want to useThis confuses me a bit, since when I put the banner I'm trying to use in myself I ended up with a 132x340 image...? Which 10 pixels are you planning on cropping out of the image, the top or the bottom? (this is important for the sake of having the charge centered). All the banners in std_banners_a appear to be 132x340...
Ya, I noticed that when I put the banner over the old one there was one pixel width of... something on the right side (at least on the Tsardom banner). It doesn't seem to appear ingame, or it's too small to notice, so I just ignored it.
In any case, put that image over the one in the .DDS and it should fit snug over the old one.

The sun (yeah its a sun. not a jewel :D) we have is the rabauzz.de-logo. We lately found out that arrows are magically drawn to it, like irondust to a magnet. Or nerds to pronsites. :O

It would help if we got an image including the positions. like Wolvesbanner and over or besides it the actual place. That for all banners in one image, would help to identify what is taken and what is free. In addition the discritption of the actual background color of each banner would help to take one which harmonizes with the colors of the banners you want to include.

Nobody has found a way to change the back of heraldric armor to match the color of replaced banners. There's some hidden files or something that makes them the color of what the default banner's background color used to be. So you have four options; settle for the background color you have, change your banner's background color to match, figure out how to change the background color and let AdNecrias know, or try to reserve a banner with a default black background. Your last option isn't likely though, last I heard they were very scarce now since most clans nabbed the black banners, and they may very well be all gone now.

I loved the banner that ATS replaced, and before I played on NA, I used it on EU all the time. Not really, but it's getting better. What you need to now is simplify that little pony you got there into 2-3 colors tops, then apply banner texture on it. Remove the lame text above, and i'd reccomend doing something to the background as it currently looks like you Screen'ed a pink layer over it making it look bad.
Qualities that separate a picture from the banner? Simplicity in terms of color (not shape though) of whatever you add. (For instance look at brand logos around, Nike, McDonalds, Apple and lots of others. They are simple, distinctive and can be made with just two different colors (black and white if needed. That's a logo.) It's colours should be plain but i'll accept most unless they get close to the "neon" highly saturated colours. Also the WHOLE banner must have a banner texture. Your's for example hasn't got it over the unicorn, butterfly and the text, which wouldn't really matter on that last on specifically has it's too dark.
So to make a quick list:
- Small colour number.
- Have a banner (hung cloth) texture over it.

So I haven't been able to play warband multiplayer since November or December, and been pretty much here only to keep the pack updated in hopes that everything'd be fine when i got back. But i've grown tired. So i'm moving on. That means i won't update the pack. I will however Keep the thread unlocked and let others post their bannerpacks and such here. I suppose this will remain a sticky until someone decides to start a bannerpack thread that can replace this one. But you never know i can make a return sometime in the future...

You'll have to save the .psd's as .dds so you can replace them ingame, if you do have photoshop you can just google Nvidia DDS plugin, it'll be handy.

I vote for the guy who enforces a strict "no comic figures, no airbrush, no bullshit" rule and only allows stuff that makes sense to use as a banner.

I thought more about stuff like pokemons(Smart Gaming), stone texture on a banner(Children of the Green Sun), airbrush(Shark Clan, Aegis Sovereignty). Also, Aegis Sovereignty ones is special, they got a logo of a shield in a shield, then paint that on their shields, would be a nice banner if they dropped the outer shield and de-airbrushed it.
(just looked at kalams current work, he cleaned up quite well already)
