So i think we all know here that the team balance between rounds is pretty destroyed at the moment.

We have a Fact and the Problem:

The fact what's happening is; for example we have two teams, the "Purple" team and the "Blue" team. Lets say the Blue team will win 1 or 2 rounds in a row. The server then puts that winning team (the Blue team) at a massive disadvantage and giving the losing team (the Purple team) a much higher chance of winning on the next round. Example of this would be, the server will have 46 players, so it puts around 70% of the server which would be 32 players on the Purple team and the rest being 14 on the Blue team. That is the fact.

Now the problem is when it does this the server doesn't balance the players or the player's "classes" out what so ever, it puts all the players that did good them 2 rounds on the team which has 32 players, in this case being the Purple team. The Blue team which has 2 rounds to Purple's 0 rounds now has 14 players what consist of low leveled Peasants that essentially didn't play well them past 2 rounds. Which are now outnumbered and out classed and have to fight hordes of archers and melee.. AND just lost 2 rounds in a row  :rolleyes: yes, saddening..

This can happen to Clans too, it can also break up clans by putting 1 member on the other team which has more players. Which makes no sense.

Is this going to be improved or fixed in the next patch?

It isn't fun to play when you're losing 2 rounds in a row and then get switched to the side that won the two rounds in a row, but you're now outnumbered 10 to 1 and you have so little chance of winning.
Which is another fact also, that you can be losing round after round and then you get switched to the side that is winning but now has no players on it and you lose again..but i'm not going to go into that..

TL;DR - Balance switches a bunch of players every round but doesn't even calculate it's own actions. Fix the balance. If it is fixed already then thanks a ton, can't wait for update  :mrgreen:.

I am not sure that you have to explain why 14 versus 32 is a problem.

I am not sure that you have to explain why 14 versus 32 is a problem.
Teeth while that is a problem within it's self, the real problem is how it balances the players and the classes.

Best part is how it couldve been okayish if the best players were all stacked on the team with less players. But thats never the case, instead one team has good players, clan stacks even, wins 2 round, gets switched to the team with massive advantage while some randomers take their spots. Suddenly you have a team with all the top scoring people and clans, and another team with 2/3 of the players, who are all just loners with average to low scores.

Just revert to the old balance formula ASAP. Think more on the new formula later.

Neither does chadz, CMP and co. but they gave us revival patch in October. I fit the criteria perfectly for developer if we ignore my total lack of developing/modding ability.

Should have been reverted back in February. There is nothing about this new system that works better than the old one and it spoiled all the hard work put into the last 2 patches

Lopsided teams could be possible, but I'm not convinced even if more time was put into it that it would work or be fun. Some players are probably worth more than 1 enemy player, but their value is counteracted by high value players on the opponents team in the old system, and teams adapt to the situation they are in, especially when you have clans fighting clans. There is no way to know the true value of a player anyway because their value depends on too many variables such as class numbers and distribution, how much effort they feel like putting in, did they decide to use crappy gear, are they trying a new role, could they exploit the map better before getting swapped, or will you ruin their flow when they swap and their value goes down, is their value based on the teams being even etc

I don't really have anything positive to say about the current balance. Its not fun, it disrupts players tactics, makes the teams less balanced to force parity between the win/loss scores, disincentives players trying to win by punishing them, rewards players that play poorly or dick around, removes consistency between the teams so you can't adapt as a team to the enemy's tactics, it broke the game

tl;dr its worse than ranged
