There is a complete list of compatible mods on this thread. I recommend the Cinematic Compilation in particular. It truly gives the graphics a different feel. Don't use the sounds from CC though. As far as I remember, there are some issues with those.

Realistic Colors is a must-have for me, although I only install the textures and not the taller grass.
