I'm not sure about 1h/Shield right now.  When I am facing just about anyone with a 2-handed weapon, if i block with the shield (or parry their attack with my weapon) I can almost never counter fast enough before they're swinging at me again and land their strikes usually resulting in my death.  My character might not be leveled up enough (currently level 21 13str/14agi wpf 126 or something).

Conversely, it seems like these folks are capable of blocking every single one of my attacks even at extremely odd angles. Is this just a result of practice or something else?

just removed all my stuff from armory back into my inventory. sorry guys :3
... looks like i have time for gaming for a few days. And im basically using all the stuff when i'm playing ...
 Incase i be off again for some time, i'll put it back into the armory, so you can play "first come, first grab" again ;D

1h/shield is fine, especially with the amount of ranged that we have on servers. Everything seems OP with you stats, you dont have proper str and agi yet. What build are you going for? I think at lvl25 you start getting competitive, at least thats the breaking point for me.
