CRPG taking over REAL life

Druzhina attacking in christmas eve , 7 day inactivity get your ass teleported to nowhere
Maybe it's time to consider players as Real Human Being , and give them the ability to take a break.
Why not making Strategus frozen during Christmas (which is an international off day) and give the ability to have an 'Vacation mode" in strat that freeze you and prevent people from attacking you when you are having vacation with your family?
I think that we shouldn't leave CRPG to No-Life and let people also enjoy their real life

I've never played a server where people split up as much or as often as on EU1.  No wonder range is having a field day.

I don't get the part where you demand that the Earth should stop spinning because of a special day for christians. Also, I can't really think of any actual international holiday except for the new year, which also occurs differently in different timezones.

Mods compatible with cRPG. New crosshairs, textures, sounds, yay.

You can have people fighting for your party while you are in RL, what's the problem?
I guess it's highly unlikely the devs will pause Strategus during the holidays.

What's wrong with you guy? What happened to the concept of tolerance? I'm not even Christian , and me and my familty don't even celebrate christmas. I had no gift , we had no tree , and i was just smoking a hooka (chicha , narguilé) with my friend during christmas eve cause we don't celebrate xMas. But i can understand that some people celebrate it , in fact a lot of people , and we can be tolerant and understanding. Being Nice isn't a bad thing you know?

Actually I (like many others) am not christian at all but I do celebrate Christmas (ofc. the name isn't fitting anymore). The origins of this feast are way older than christianity. For me it's more a tradition than a religious event.

But this certainly isn't an excuse for pretending xmas is an international holiday.

That's why each player should be able to set up his own (short I guess) holiday time. You could make sure it isn't abused by completely freezing the fiefs the person owns (not generating any income or even make it completely off-limits, kicking everyone out of the fief)

Christmas isn't celebrated in muslim Country , because they have Aïd also called Bayram in Turkia.  But it's celebrated in the whole EU zone.
Vacation mode already exist in other persistant web browser like Ogame.
A fief shouldn't be allowed to be at vacation, but people should be allowed .

A vacation mode akin to that of Ogame would be perfect imo. The idea of fixed vacation dates for everyone however, is not to my taste
