so, after playing with the crpg launcher for 2 years I was like "I need those friggin ingame hours for epeen".
I just took a quick look into the mnb-Folder and realized - not for the first time tbh, since there have been like 3 patches of the main exe in the last 2 years that didnt affect crpg - that wse doesnt use the mb_warband.exe thats tracked by steam, but instead the mb_warband_old.exe.
so you can actually just delete (ofc make a backup first) the mb_warband.exe and rename crpglauncher.exe (if its in the same folder, the main warband folder) to mb_warband.exe - until the next warband update that is.
or disable autoupdates on steam to stay save.
well, atleast if you dont play any other warband mods and never touch singleplayer again...

so yeah. dont ask me why I didnt think about that earlier, its just too obvious tbh

tl:dr: if you're fine with just playin crpg and want crpg hours through the launcher to add up on your warband steam epeen, rename the crpglauncher.exe to mb_warband.exe (if your launcher is in the main mnb-folder

edit: I actually just got my first steam trading card for mnb by launching crpg, so even more epeen...
edit2: it also screws with crpglauncher updates, so rename back and forth for those...

Compared to HA which can still bump and shoot with real equal strength, a throwing melee hybrid is clearly at a disadvantage. Not to mention that even without PS a HA with a 1h sword can deal quite an amount of damage from horseback due to speed bonus. If the player is capable of doing that is different question.

shoot with equal strength once accuracy is fixed  :rolleyes: couldnt really use any speedbonus (for ranged shots that is) as I had to slow down to hit anything...
also, playing HA on lvl 30 is shitty enough, I dont have any spare points to waste on PS :D

but yeah like bulzur said: definitely the worst possible map for our team roster

Will this improve accuracy? Also when will it be fixed? 5v5 tournament is currently going on and i don't want to be useless.

Thank god for my playstyle, I havent been aiming properly ever since I started back in 2011...
Didnt really notice a change, I mean I played a lvl 30 stf, so I expect some randomness, even more compared to lvl 34.

87 with 3 stacks of mw barbed - I can choose between mw arrows, mw barbed and mw bodkins - mainly depending on how much fuck I give and money I wanna waste
those 87 are rather inefficient though, cause they are barbed arrows - combined with 5 pd, horn bow and shooting from horseback (only 60% penalty thanks to 4 HA skill) thats hardly high dmg output
also, whats the complaining about me not having a melee weapon? I dont see you running around with a xbow for those situation where you maybe could use one very inefficiently - cause since I spent everything in riding and archery I can backpaddle very good, even if I had a meleeweapon...and fighting without ps, yeah right - I rather not even bother

I always found the excuse of "my class is too expensive" irrelevant

Min maxing is expensive, its the same for EVERY class
and you can still use cheaper gear

I use barbed arrows and a horn bow, thats not min-maxing

imho horse archery is too expensive
cause while these two might lead the scoreboard, their team still loses and they actually would need valour in order to make a profit
If I'm leading the scoreboard on the wrong side thats just my shitty team and high repair costs for me - your tears only make the fall softer
