General Discussion / Re: Fix List v210

Stop lying Yaron, I'm top scorer fairly regular, bah

But I get your point, xbow price, IMO are fine, but you're not getting a whole lot for the money your spending. I'm using gear  (excluding siege xbow) worth about 4k, and with the siege xbow (siege xbow, bolts x2: 21749) about 25k. A dedicated archer with okey armor and dual bodkins nets about 25k, but they are pure dedicated archers. I'm wondering if the lack of skill point sink the xbower gets is worth the price they pay for the gear they use.

The problem here is that there is no way to make a transition between skill points and upkeep and viceversa.

Meaning an archer may be limited by skill points  but not by upkeep while a xbowman is limited by upkeep but not by skillpoints.

Someone's suggestion of a repair skill would help with this, allowing people going for a pure xbow build to spend skillpoints to help with the high item maintenance.
Additionally one should be able to somehow use upkeep to support extra skillpoints.

I think the most important change that has to be made to siege is an adjustment to the autobalance.

Right now, even if I am on a team that does great and I win, half the team will get switched around EVERY ROUND (unlike battle where it's only the first round).
This means that more often than not I end up getting a 1x -> 2x -> 1x -> 2x ... streak which is a lot worse than going 1x -> 1x -> 2x -> 3x -> 4x -> 5x .. in battle.

It doesn't seem to be worth it to go over 5 WM anymore...

It is if you go hybrid.

It doesn't work with the crpg item txt file.
Could edit it manually but I don't know which number to change.

Just want to point out that my char is now named Shogunate_Helrekkr and that I will probably retire tonight, but I'll probably be 20+ before the 17th anyway.

I won't be using xbows anymore though, might have bows secondary so for now just update me with:

Shogunate_Helrekkr: A, J (and maybe D)

Where do you set that ? (grats me for beeing a total nab if it's from the ingame settings).
Always wanted to have all the corpses stick around instead of vanish into thin air.

I don't think STR stacking is anywhere as usefull as AGI stacking though.

I used the calculators and going from a 15 STR / 24 AGI build to 27 STR / 12 AGI (5 PS -> 9 PS) only increased damage done  by around 5-10 on a ~40 armor target.

That's not worth the huge loss of overall speed and WPP in my opinion.

Haven't really noticed any serious lag issues since patch, other than the very short rubber band effect at the beginning of most rounds.
Then again I recently built a gaming rig that has no issues running anything on the market atm on max settings.

Any idea where I can find the exact effects of each point of WPF ?
Do the benefits scale linearly with the amount you have ?

Unfortunately friendly horse bumping is not factored.

The horse should take damage ! Would be so funny seeing friendly cav fall flat on their faces after running over allies.

Would be really nice to get a nice span of armor types ranging all the way from western to far eastern.

Plate was not at all uncommon on battlefields, at least from the 14th century on.

I'm not too worried. They'll get nerfed somehow next patch and all fotm spammers should go away at least.

What is this? You found a someone with a headshot arrow in their corpse and took a screen ... what is this meant to prove? Headshots happen?

I must have missed the post explaining this.

That would be me, dying to a random arrow from over a hill 500m away again. Yeah.. it happens... a lot.

Sorry, i'm just tired of the archer spam. I want something to be done to reduce the number of archers, that's all.
