WSE2 Beta / Debilitating ping spikes?

This has been going on for a while now but last night was the straw that broke the camel's back and I'm pretty much done with WSE2.  Every 40 seconds or so, my ping will spike to anywhere from 200-600 and just hang there for about 5 or 6 seconds.  It does this without warning and it only happens in WSE2.  I've tried everything to fix it and it's gotten me killed way too many times, I'm just done until there's something I can do about it.

For the past 3 months or so I've been getting terrible crashing and horrible ping spikes.
Out of nowhere my ping will just spike to 600 and stay there for about 10 seconds, usually happens once every 30 seconds or so and it's just getting frustrating to the point that I don't want to play anymore.  I know a lot of people have been having this problem and it doesn't look like anything's being done about it.  I don't spike on Native or any other game, this seems to be it.

Help?

cRPG Technical problems / Random black screens

Lately on NA_1, I've been getting random black screens.
As far as I can tell, they're permanent and there's no way to get back into the game without losing my multi.
When it's black screen, I can still swing and I can hear the battle going on but like I said, it's just a black screen, alt tabbing doesn't fix it.

Nothing's changed on my end and there doesn't seem to be a trigger for it, would appreciate some help or a fix.

Edit: Alright, it seems to be triggered whenever I press shift, which is my zoom key. NOPE, HAPPENS REGARDLESS
There doesn't seem to be a keyboard shortcut/toggle for it so I'm not quite sure what's going on.

Finally, I had enough when I was reloading my arbalest and he kicked me off the ledge.
When asked why he did it, he responded with 'cuz it's funny'
Shortly before this, he opened the gate to the attackers while he was on defenders.

Since Ildist is too illustrious to make this claim on his own, we are taking control of Sumbuja.

It will be a haven for nobody and a dick for everyone.
I personally believe he will be an amazing leader and if you give him this one fief, he may very well take control of the entire map, starting with one puny clan, then another.

He will advance sciences beyond comprehension, give education to our children and give the nonbelievers the RAW D.
