Omg that's epicly shitty editing. Noob editors seem to think that cool vids are made by shoving every possible effect everywhere.  :twisted:

well 2 be fair he didnt exactly have great material.
Babel was playing badly and my fps had dropped to 20-30, so the fights werent exactly epic.  :lol:

All I did was use Camera Panning, Soft Contrast, changing colours and slowing down in some areas lol simple. And sorry for not being the best video editor, I don't have the best pc which can keep a steady fps with fraps on :P. Maybe you should try a video so I can learn some "epic" editing.

Even though I agree that the editing isn't the best it's still nice you put together a video. Used time on it and so on. Not many ine here can say that  :wink:

You dont really need top rate pc to do that. Tip for future: use effects only when they serve a purpose. Just cause they look cool doesn't cut it. They have to have a meaning :D

Thanks man, you certainly make up for your lack of skill in cRPG with your video editing experience. This video was just to experiement with effects I never really done much before and ofc to get footage of some great duelers. The merc montage vid has better use of effects, more purposeful I say  :lol:.

btw.. Twixtor plugin is the shit when it comes to making extreme slo-mo ;-)

And I like the effects! :-)

And joxer: Effects that look cool DO CUT IT. Look at.. uhm lets see, Transformers and Tron. (Shit movies but I'm sure they make money..)

I don't have that much experience. I've haven't even edited even close to 100 vids yet. About 10 of those actually have effects to some degree. This is just something I read about and I believe there was some video about explaining it too. If I see it somewhere I shall pass the url. It explained good how to use effects. It's always ok to go for good look but tone it down so its not excessive and when using effects dont stack them.
