Suggestions Corner / Remove night time cycle?

The question is easy, I just want to know if I'm the only one that leave cRPG when night time happens.

The population of players downgraded hard and developers keep trying to implement new things instead of focusing of currents problems that make people quit playing.

Night, a fog below 500 m and rain contribute to fucking up this game, that's my point of view.

What's your opinion?

Hi,

The weapon rack to resupply during the game is broken since months or probably more, we get random items, sword as helmet, or dart as bots that conduct to being naked without the weapon we asked for.

So please instead to implement new features fix the one that used to work in the past.

Since this new patch Vivi attacks every teammates that respawn with a mount, is this an intended feature?

Suggestions Corner / Request to allow to lower yelling voices (custom files)

Hi,

I would like to ask to admin before trying anything that could be reprehensible according to the game rules.

First of all I only play DTV, probably never on PvP.

The yell voices of bots (over 30) are really annoying and tired to hear all the waves "FUCKKKK YOU! BBBBWWWWWWAAAA!! RAAAAAWWWWW!" in addition to QQV spamming players.

So my request is simple, I don't know if chadz finally implemented a module' files checking to prevent people modifying textures (for pink arrows, transparent texture etc...)

I only would like to lower the sound of files from the directory: MountBlade Warband\Modules\cRPG\Sounds\

vc_1_quickmenu_yell1.ogg
to
vc_1_quickmenu_yell10.ogg

and the female ones:
vc_1_quickmenu_yellF1.ogg
to
vc_1_quickmenu_yellF10.ogg

Of course, if you accept and if people are interested to get these changes, I will provide theses customs files on this thread.

Hi guys,

I was tired to wait for a fix on cRPG Launcher so I made a minimalist tool to update cRPG mod based on c-rpg.net resource files.

How to use it:

Download and extract the .zip to a folder of your liking.

Double click the "crpgUpdaterGUI.exe".

In the window that just opened you click the "..."-Button and navigate to your Mount&Blade Warband folder and press OK.
You may also directly paste the path to your Warband folder in the textbox.
Note: Not your cRPG folder, It has to be the Warband main folder.

If you want a shortcut for easier access, check the "Create Shortcut"-checkbox before pressing the Update button. If you check it, the program will automatically create a shortcut to the updater on your desktop.
NOTE: If you already have a shortcut on your desktop, this checkbox will not be visible.

Afterwards you simply press the "Update"-Button. A new window will open, here you press "Yes" and cRPG will start updating.

A message box will notify you once cRPG has been updated.

Once you press "Ok" the window will close automatically.

If you need any kind of help, or some errors occur while using the updater, don't hesitate to bring it up. Thank you

Writing into "Program Files (x86)" & "Program Files" and system' directories in general requires administrative privileges since Windows Vista.

So your only way to allow crpg_update.exe to write into program files is launching it as administrator.

By the way that's the reason why cRPG launcher requires admin privileges.

By command line as administrator:
Just supply the cRPG directory:

With help of GUI, select desktop as Warband path and then choose this folder to update/install cRPG.

Then you have to replace manually the cRPG folder from "Program Files (x86)\M&BW\Modules\"

Hi,

I just had an idea since cRPG became less populated, and probably Warband more generally.

We all know the fact that it takes too much time to load cRPG just to know if servers are populated and which maps are running. At least many modern games take less than 10 seconds to load. (60 s here, but I agree it's really fast to join a server after game is loaded)

You probably knew GameSpy Arcade or more recently Game monitor.

These tools are a great help to try to find a server among the whole empty ones.

Yet, Taleworlds don't have an easy/open protocol to be able to retrieve server informations. Only the Warband' servers lists, that's all...

So the only way is to directly communicate to each server and simulate Warband server browser.

I didn't found any existing description of this communication.

Since for my work I spent a lot of time to decode different telecommunication protocols,
I challenged myself to try to decode this protocol, and I finally found all the interesting informations needed about servers.

I know c-RPG.net implemented this but:
- The time refresh is really long
- It doesn't show the current played map

And since I noticed they take 6 month to allow to upload the items pictures, I don't think I could work with the devs team to directly implement this feature on cRPG site. They can still PM me, though I don't think they will.

So if you are interested by this idea and the way to implement it, let me know.

I don't know php and many dynamic online/website languages but I'm ready to share my knowledge to another developer.

Otherwise I can make a tool developed in Python with a simple interface to list all servers with the different useful informations.

TLTR: I just want to create a cRPG/Warband server browser to avoid to load the game to be able to know the map/players number of servers.

Is there a reason why QML doesn't works on Eu7?

Mostly half of the team don't care about having 3 more bots at each wave, it's not my case.

So please, give us a way to easily kick AFK without having to poll.

4. Written description of what happened, the whole story. Also what happened before and after.
First of all: I presume Hitolf_Adler_the_rerheuF to be an alt of dagu807.
dagu, since 1 month now this guy keep being extremely full of hatred against jews and keep talking about it, alone mostly.
We once poll banned with success his alt, for his shit talking and for his name clearly derivate from A. H. Screenshots 1 & 2
And later dagu his main clearly say: Hitolf Adler is the incarnation of him. talking about A. H. you can see in screenshots.

Then Methphisto joined the game, and dagu watching his banned (Jewish Internet Defence Force) started provocate him, calling him 'jew', 'the jew' and shit talking.

This guy spend the whole time of the game to trash talk and incite hatred into the server.

Hey,

Just saying, there is a lot of Chinese players coming to EU7/DTV, because there is mostly no admins they can leech/gold/xp farming as they want. And guess what they arg they have shity ping over 350 so they can't fight, and so they leech.

Z_Jason_Zhou did it naked without weapon and mostly suiciding at beginning.
